Apart from reprofiling the outerbank is there much they could do to stop this happening? As it looks like this time they had water dummies on some of the rows. I know for The Smiler they switched to running 'faster' wheels after it's valleying issues so I guess that could be an option.
I...
Most (all?) of the food and drinks places at Disney Springs / Disney Village etc are franchised and run by Disney directly. They are trying to wriggle their way out of it, by claiming it's a third party, but really they are franchises.
The ride that finally killed the Cedar Fair / Intamin relationship was a (by comparison) a simple Shoot the Chutes style water ride. Not some super advanced prototype. The anti rollback failed to work, and the boat capsized with 8 people trapped under water.
I believe if this incident didn't...
I think most of the Schwarzkopf coasters have had their trains replaced in the last few years, I think/hope it's the end of the road for any original Schwarzkopf trains after this incident.
The 'one ride per day' restriction would apply to everyone, Virtual Queue / Fast Pass / RAP. It wasn't in operation yesterday, although it was a pretty quiet on park.
That's correct, assuming the queue was 'open' (which it wasn't always) you could request a spot. It seemed like they allowed 2 hours worth of people into the virtual queue, or around that time. You could also 'jump' ahead if there was space too. I think the talk of 'only one ride a day' is...
Because those coasters were for the failed Six Flags Dubai project, and therefore already paid for. Otherwise I doubt they would be invest that much into these parks.
If they resolved the bottom of the first drop and the final dive loop (maybe trimming across the MCBR) it would be fine. But yeah, those 2 bits are awful.
Another vote for The Grand National. On one of my rides it actually winded me at the bottom of the first drop. I don't mind, and quite enjoy, the feel of a classic woodie but more in a Great American Scream Machine at SFoG way than a Grand National way.
Saw: The Ride can be awful too, when it's...

I'm really not a fan of this government, but they are giving people useful and sensible information whilst planning about what happens next. They are actually listening to experts and...
1. That's not how Herd Immunity works, as it relies on a good percentage of the population being vaccinated. There is no working/proven vaccine for COVID-19 yet.
2. As it stands the UK is one of the least affected countries with confirmed COVID-19 cases. That could all change but knee jerk...
I rode ToT for the first (and I guess last time) in September 2019. It was barely getting to half way up the tower and it made some funky noises as it repositioned into the station. It was a great ride though, despite the lack of speed height. Saying that, as the tunnel starts just a few meters...
No Gigas yet, but I'll be heading to Carowinds next year. My ride only had one trim that I could feel, plenty of airtimes (including ejector off the MCBR) and some nice positives. I really enjoyed it but I don't doubt that Fury 325 is better.
Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America is a great coaster, and one of the best B&M hypers. Only Shambhala and Mako are better in my opinion, and above Silver Star, Hollywood Dream and Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia.
