Europa press release sent to me via email says it'll be open May 18th with a "step-by-step opening of hotel gastronomy"
May 29th will see the full reopening of Europa Park, the hotels and camp resort.

I think the obvious park would be Thorpe Park, but considering Merlin's just had a buyout, who know if they're even going to keep their parks?

And to think this thing cost over 35 million quid to build and Derren Brown cost something similar and yet look how big of a flop that was... Just goes to show what you can really do if you have the right team together.
In the UK, ADIPS (being the strictest regulators) require park and fair operators to pass their weld joints through UV detection. A reactive spray is applied on welds or high stress points and the tests are carried out. Similar methods are required by TUV, who govern the rest of Europe.

It was most likely presented to many manufacturers and most said no and Vekoma just happened to deliver what the park wanted? I personally think it's a case of who could deliver.
