I've seen it test once with dummies last Sunday however I'm expecting a delay to 2026 more than an August opening at the moment.
I'm expecting they'll want it 100% before opening.
This particular coaster still seems to keep getting revived when it's had so many problems. I wonder if it's the coaster itself of the maintenance that is prohibitive to make it reliable again?
For me, it is normally kiddie rollercoasters so at Alton Towers, I haven't done Octonauts nor it is likely I'll do so.
Recently at Parque De Attractionios, it is busy not not crazy busy like at PortAventura or Merlin however I've skipped Paw Patrol and the Airplane coaster as those had some...
The most that it could likely fit would be a Vekoma Family Boomerang to be honest or maybe a flat - I don't think they would be able to offer anything bigger on that site
Truth be told, it's probably park infrastructure improvements
The size of this area looks big enough for a compact rollercoaster of some sort.
Something like a Family Boomerang would complement Tami Tami and Tomahawk with a good step up to their good family thrill rollercoaster offering (Uncharted, Stampida, El Diablo).
Dragon at Energylandia was in mind when I asked this question considering the queues were more painful for the SFC although the park barely had a queue over 20 minutes.
With Vampire at Chessington having two trains (even 3 at one point), I thought it'd be doable
Interesting to know that two...
Personally, I think as long as rides keep operating - I don't think it can be too quiet but if rides are on rotation or close, it would affect my experience.
Although I believe the perspective from GP and Enthusiast is very different. The former may want a day trip and enjoy the rides once (or...
It's a possibility that Aspro had valued Oakwood both as a going concern and the land itself and found the land more valuable as land than as an amusement park.
This may have influenced their decision to close and asset strip.
I totally agree, I'd rather they kept it going for a couple more years than to have a big gap between water rides.
Although Towers removed their Log Flume without a proper replacement.
I believe there's two more non themed areas after Valgard that could be developed.
One where the old Log Flume was and the other between Tornado Springs and Critter Creek.
This does beg me the question, why was Raging River closed when it isn't part of Valgard.
I thought a clone of Formula (Vekoma Space Warp) or a 25m near clone of Abyssus (Vekoma Shockwave - Lite) would've been perfect for what Paultons were trying to achieve
Lech would've been incredible but it could be on the more intense side.
Wow, I honestly didn't anticipate those leaks to turn out to be true.
I'm disappointed that it got leaked on the forums by users (on the inside)
It is an amazing reveal and a very safe choice for a thrill coaster.
Disappointed that Magma is leaving the park and that the water ride/coaster...
