Another thing I noticed from these photos is that they're finally putting the supports up for the stall and the two inversions next to it. Wonder what took them so long?
I believe that actually got discontinued last year. Now the only option is to take a bus into Jackson, then Uber to the park. That isn't the worst thing in the world, but then you have to Uber back and apparently it can be hard to get one from Great Adventure.
I hate how hard this park is to get to without a car. It's in the middle of the most heavily populated section in the US and it's still somehow in the middle of nowhere. I'd love to visit when I'm in NYC next week but I can't justify the cost.
Okay, this is absolutely brutal. Wtf is the marketing team doing?!
You close five whole rides without warning, including one of the most famous coasters on the planet. It wasn't like it wasn't planned. They also forgot to announce the removal of one of the worlds tallest flat rides.
Like just...
I just can't believe Six Flags isn't announcing these closures ahead of time. It doesn't hurt to give a heads up, especially with freaking Kingda Ka of all rides.
As far as I'm aware, there's no swing launch. There was one in a leaked rendering from a few years ago, but that's clearly no longer accurate (there's no room for it because of the showbuilding).
CoasterStudios is claiming that Kingda Ka is closing this off-season and it won't be announced ahead of the closure. If that's true people will be angry.
