Which coasters have the coolest looking trains?

I know it's an older coaster now, but I've always liked the trains on Dragon Mountain at Marineland in Niagara Falls, ON.

    Seen But Never Been??

I drove by a Six Flags park somewhere between Madison, Wis and Chicago, while on a family trip. I think that's the only major park I've seen but not entered. There are a bunch of Kid's parks I've driven by (not sure any of 'em had coasters,

Rank the coasters in your home park!

Tough to say which park is my home park, since I'm much closer to La Ronde but I've frequented Wonderland much more often. I guess I'll start with the latter and do the other if I have the time (this will be based on my personal preference for the most part, rather than critical views)...

Top 5 or 10 coasters in your home country

I'm in Canada. Some I haven't ridden due to geographical/size limitations (I'm working on the latter), so I'll lean on some friends whose opinions I trust: 1. Leviathan - Canada's Wonderland, Toronto 2. Behemoth - Canada's Wonderland, Toronto 3. Le Monstre - La Ronde, Montreal 4. Goliath - La...

    Previous Record Holders

This one was a surprise to me because I've been on it and while I thought it was relatively good (it's not crazy fast but it's always surrounded by terrain/theming that make it feel faster and it has one cool element at the end of the ride), I never realized the difference in height between the...

When did you ride your first "big" roller coaster?

My first "Adult" coaster was the Super Manege, a standard Vekoma Corkscrew, at La Ronde in Montreal (I rode Le Monstre and Le Boomerang" that same day - the only other "big" coasters they had at the time). I'm guessing I was 10 or 11.

Innovative coaster models that never 'hit the big time'

Megaton - Mitsui Greenland http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uEkkQus9Zcw Looks very cool but certainly seems like there is a lot of room to grow, design-wise

Rides you rode in the opening season?

My list is very short: Cobra, La Ronde, Montreal Top Gun (now Flight Deck), Canada's Wonderland, Toronto The Fly, Canada's Wonderland, Toronto

Innovative coaster models that never 'hit the big time'

One of my favourite coasters, and the one that seems to get universally positive reviews since it was installed, is Vortex, an Arrow suspended coaster (like The Big Bad Wolf), at Canada's Wonderland. Most of these are or will be torn down due to operation costs and Arrow's closure, so I don't...

    Scariest Roller Coaster You've Ridden

I'd have to say that my first ride on Skyrider at Canada's Wonderland is the only time I was ever scared on a roller coaster. Skyrider is a Togo standup coaster with a loop and a pretty crazy double helix, but those features weren't what scared me (I saw them coming). As the ride approaches...
