I agree that maps need to be cut down on. Every park has an app nowadays and should be working in real time to show what is closed/queue times, so pushing to use the app (and the revenue derived from that) should happen. But those who want a map should get one £1-£2 is reasonable, £3.50, even...
I was worried about this, but then I remembered how awful that part was to ride, it was really uncomfortable.
It's probably still my fave Gerst, as it's different to anything else, and is now arguably better.
The best Intamin Accellerator (IMO) is Storm Runner. If done correctly, these padded out rides can take the gimmick and improve on it. But on the other hand you can get a Kanonen situation 🤮
But I get your point, Oblivion, TTD, Drop towers, they all do their gimmick to perfection.
Steel Vengeance - We whored this one, couple of rides the first night, but had the FP on the 2nd day and proper whored it into the evening - 15+
Zadra - No FP meant ambling around the queue on each ride plus a 30 min queue so I've only done 5 laps
Lightning Rod - Whored this in the rain on day...
Most of the big players have already been mentioned, not in order;
Popeye Bilge Rat Barges
"Tidal Wave" Style Chutes
Smokey Mountain River Rampage (Dollywood)
I knew this seemed familiar by the way -...
As much as I'm for lapbars only for 99% of creds, Gerst Eurofighters and the ilk are not ones I would feel comfortable with.
I'd give it a go of course, but imagine the smiler without smelly headrests, not the same.
This has been going on for years with nothing happening. When I see actual proof that this "project" is happening, i.e. foundations and mud or an actual website along the lines of when the newest Gullivers was being built then I'll believe this will actually happen.
Until that happens this is...
Oh I totally agree with you, it's the right course of action, we don't need another Christmas spike. Although I think the vaccine being in circulation would translate to a lot less hospitalisations and deaths, even if the volume of new infections did spike.
Best to err on the side of caution...
