Is it overhyped? The ride is hands down redonkulous.

I'm quite interested in the difference between the two. I think you get premium parking instead of standard. Maybe some flashpass discounts too? I was blown away with what we got with my pass. The unlimited drink thing was a surprise to me. Besides the obvious intentional lack of consideration...

100% agree. Finally got on Griffon on Monday, and man, I don't know what it is about the older versions, but they are just much much better than the newer versions like say, Valravn. Even Sheikra, the ride experience just "feels" like they do what they're meant to do with the sense of airtime...

So they slow it down before the drop down the cliff, then speed it up at the bottom of the drop, then slow it down again at the top of the big bunny hill? Quite a bit of manipulation going on with the natural pace of the ride. Doesn't look like it's going more than 80 mph through the circuit...

I don't recall anyone saying "quick"....also note: that post you referred to was from 2022...so they have had literal years to get it back together... On page 1 of this thread it says "Coming 2023" jeez, has it really been that long?

I think they cut it into pieces with a blow torch, but there's really no reason why they couldn't weld it back together...which might be the reason this has taken so long. If this was a newly manufactured reproduction, I would think it could have been much quicker than fixing what they tore...

Don’t know why, but for me…the highlight of this ride is the blast out of the mountain, and the interaction with the surrounding area and rides, absolutely love it, almost RCTish. Definitely up there on my list of must rides for 2025.
