How does the theming not add anything to the experience? That is what I don’t understand. I certainly think Millennium Forces station music adds something to the experience but since it’s Orion and it’s located at KI the station music apparently adds nothing.
I don’t understand what’s wrong with the theming? Does it detract from the experience? Most people I’ve seen on social media seem to like the theming, and at the very least haven’t disliked it enough to complain about it.
I really enjoyed riding Orion today, the first drop was phenomenal. The “wave turn” after the first drop was a very fun element that I enjoyed quite a bit. The biggest surprise for me was how fun the small hill before the brake run is. I will say however the trim sometimes seemed to hit a little...
The metal hut in Orion’s queue looks well themed, glad they have a short film playing on the tv screens inside. I do wish more of the queue was themed however.
While it’s certainly not anywhere close to be being themed to the level of a Universal or Disney ride I do think the theming they have done is fine. I am hoping that the large metal hut is well themed on the inside. I think we can all agree even the slightest theming does improve the overall...
I don’t see why’d they do that considering they just themed an entire new area of the park based on FoF’s theme. I think Orion may arguably provide the best overall ride experience for a giga when you factor in the theme and the on ride experience (Of Course if you don’t care about theming then...
I trust the park, who has Orion’s blueprints and specifications over your basic measurement. Using photos to measure the steepness of the drop isn’t that accurate as the perspective will effect your measurements.
Goons? Someone is a goon because they like an amusement park? I also don't understand why you keep calling it Rob Decker and the several other designers involved in this project lazy. Given the limitations they were given they seemed to produce a good product. Most likely they weren't allowed...
The park intentionally designed the ride to be at the height it is so that it can use the terrain. If they made the ride any taller it would have missed the small valley. It’s 95% as tall as Levithan and I don’t see any people crying about how it looks almost the same size as Behemoth. The ride...
That wasn’t really why I asking that question, I asked if all 3 trains went to Carowinds. His post was talking about how it was intresting that it was sent to Carowinds instead of KD when that may not be the case if the other trains get sent else where. Yes I get why trains would be sent around.
