In addition to SnooSnoo's "top 10 roller coaster list" I would find it interesting to know which are your currently five top rated flat rides! :) (thought that 10 might be too many hence most of the flats are the same or at least very similar)

Here is my list:

1) Scream - Heide Park
2) Hurakan Condor - Port Aventura
3) Vertigo - Tivoli Gardens
4) Slammer - Thorpe Park
5) Samurai - Thorpe Park

Snoo

The Legend
1. XScream - Stratosphere Tower
2. Drop Tower - Kings Island
3. XScream/AtmosFEAR - Waldameer and Morey's Piers.
4. Aero360 - Kennywood
5. Skyhawk - Cedar Point

Yay.

1. Drop Tower, Kings Island
2. Drop Tower, California's Great America
3. Pit Fall, Kennywood
4. Power Tower, Cedar Point
5. Supreme Scream, Knott's Berry Farm

Other than coasters, it's basically just drop towers, dark rides and water rides at parks for me.

That's a Hopser or Schunkler, as they're know in German. Tons of fun, but you better hold on. Especially if you ride them standing up (if the ride ops let you). Does anyone know what this ride type is called in English?

Oh I didn't realise that but interesting to know :) I've been on several at UK fairs and they're great fun!

I thought Tagada was the name of that particular one, not the type of ride.
Thanks Ben.

Tagada's are pretty insane, especially in parks like Wiener Prater that actually encourage people to get up and attempt to dance. Dangerous!

^They're really good for working out your arms when you're trying not to fly off, but that's about it. Are there any in the UK or USA? I've only personally ever seen them in Asia.

Actually, scratch that; I'm sure I remember one in Blackpool, as part of some dark ride, but it had restraints?

Anyway, favourite flats...

1. UFO, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village (or any Gyro Drop really)
2. Blue Fall, Hakkeijima Sea Paradise
3. Gyro Swing, Lotte World (just a touch better than the Huss version)
4. Apollo Wheel, Happy Valley Beijing (or any Huss giant frisbee I suppose)
5. Vertigo, Tivoli Gardens
