Which other company is creating hybrid coasters at the moment though? Most of the ones I'm aware of are either older models that are likely from a defunct company, or an RMC. It certainly is an interesting thought that another company could be working on their own version of a modern hybrid coaster but I don't know how likely that would be.

The experience, no. The appearance, yes.

To be honest I think they should shelve the 'Hybrid' idea and just build a steel coaster. A big one too

I've been thinking. I think a Premier Rides Sky Rocket II or something along the lines of Goldrush at Attractiepark Slagharen would work well here. They'd be different to anything built on the British isles, that's for sure! ;)

So now 2018 is here, and Tayto Park is likely receiving new rides next year, if it is true then I would assume that we would see evidence of this in some way when the park reopens in March.

I think they will receive two creds, a kiddie coaster and a thrill coaster, and also some other small rides. Maybe another flat ride. Sticking to the "large investment every 2 years" plan, the planned hotel is meant to open then, so I could only see the park itself getting a flat ride, maybe an S&S drop tower?

They're not receiving two new creds. It's just not happening. Thanks for posting your wish list.

Based on what evidence? Or just thinking because, you know, you're you?
