Had a long weekend in denmark,
the snow:
Polar explorer in legoland. A fab ride - the pre drop section just feels so right, and is really what 13 should have been, the drop was quite nice too, but the short post drop section was a bit dull, still I'll let it off cos it was awesome!
Other rides at legoland - kice pilots school - there robocoaster - had 2 goes, first on setting 4, and the next on 5. short ride cycles, on the first go got a bit of ear bashing - bjut the second was fine.
Dragon - a dark ride section, followed bhy the coaster - the coastre bit itself is a mack powered coaster, so the "launch" is actually quite neat!
x-treme racers - mack wild mouse, quite heavily trimmed so robbed of any fun!
Timber ride - small zierer, nicerly themed, if a bit aging - nuff said
Mine train - not a roller coaster as expected, but a very slow train ride through some "mountains"
Sealife - yeh, sealife, not that good
didn't do any of the water rides as it was a bit too cold..
The treasures:
Piraten and juvelin at djurs. Piraten is still a top 10 coaster, despite being a little rattly now - the airtime just get's better throughout the ride.
Juvelin - They've been having troubles running this in rain, so as an "insurance measure" they gave us one go through the exit in case they couldn;'t do the ers - good job they did, because it played intamin later in the day. Thought the ride was pretty good,and the second launcdh is surprisingly forceful, and there are lots of twisties!
Other rides at djurs:
Skattoen - A nice enough mack water coaster, only wet ridwe I did of the weekend as it was a +1 on the cred scale!
Thors Hammer - I love these gerstklauer bobsleds, this one was damn good!
solguden - nice enough family flat ride, with an annoying theme tune
sabblen - a big frog hopper shaped like a cutlass, with side to side rocking action
jungle safari - lame slow boat ride with tacky animals
ride op-less porn ponies - just get on and pull the light pull switch to go
shooting range - proper air rifles too! a bit different!
and loads of kids play areas
The wind and rain
Orkanen(hurricane) at farup - a vekoma suspended family coaster over (and a bit under) water. They wanted a coaster that would be great for the whole family - minimum height is 1,05m. Ther ride is great! smooth, twisty, fun and a little pop of air. had about 7 goes during the ers, just a beautiful family ride! Vekoma and farup have done emselves proud! Rained pretty much constantly throughout the ers on this and Lynet.
Other rides:
Lynet - stillo good fun, if as little rough in places
Falken - had a painfull rain soaked ride, still fun though, a nice old fashioned style woody
pindsvinet - a zamperla kiddy coaster of evil!
didn't do the spinning mouse this time
Rævens Hule - a cute little fun house which was quite tricky to find
another rifle range

It thundered for about an hour at 11:30, so combined with only having until 1:30, meant that the last ride was on mine express - vekoma roller skater after the heavy rain and...
I GOT MY FIRST ROLLBACK!! was awesome, took about 5 attempts to get it over the lift hill tyres , crying shame was that I was the only one on board!!
When we got back to billund, someone had found out that legoland is free entry after 5:30 (rides close at 6) - so got a couple of bonus goes on polar explorer and another go on the robocoaster
