Re: Six Flags Magic Mountain | Twisted Colossus | RMC Iron H

Doesn't look like it'll do anything? Also, it's hideous. Colossus was an amazing coaster, hope it lives up to the original.
I am judging that first airtime hill off of the first airtime hills we find on Iron Rattler and NTG; both of which are great pops of airtime.
Also considering that an RMC has yet to hit outside of the Mitch Hawker Top 10 (and do we really think Goliath and Medusa Steel won't rank highly either?) - it's reasonable to be optimistic that Twisted Colossus will be a caliber ride.
Colossus was certainly a good wooden coaster - I have it in my own wooden top 10. As a historic roller coaster, it carries even greater weight as a west coast classic (for which, I am sorry to see it go). It is no secret however that ridership was lagging, and the writing has seemed to be on the wall for an RMC conversion for years.
I always hate seeing a classic go, yet love everything RMC has done to date. Definitely mixed emotions, but in a happy phoenix-rising-from-the-embers kind of way.
