"SCarowinds" in October

The haunt fests are coming!
I have never been to Carowinds. I am thinking about going when I have the weekend of 10/20-10/23 off (depends on airline flights, etc).
My question for anyone who has been there - what is the weather like that time of the year. What should I pack to wear? Hoodie needed?

I don't know anything about the event but Scarowinds is a great name, I've always liked it.
