Except that the Speedypass exit would be further away than actually exiting and entering normally...?
 
I'd assume they'll just let you wait on the platform or just outside the station exit until the next available train comes around.

I'm in for this trip by the way, but no ERT for me.

It’s not, theirs a gate they use for disabled people, what they enter and exit through, that could be used for the ert too, it just means we’d be getting off to the left and walk to the back of the train and down that small queue line inside the station, back out and then through the turnstiles again.
 
Sooo I'm all booked staying in New Odyssey. Bringing some friends and will be doing ERTs with PBE will be good to see people I haven't seen in years.

I got the timing's through from Pleasure Beach earlier on today;

09:00am - Meet at Information Desk in the Casino Building for registration
09:30am - ICON ERT (30 mins)

Honestly have no idea how it'll work in terms of getting off and going on again, I am hopeful it'll be done the same way as the Helix ERT we did last weekend where riders stood to the side, let the next riders on and then moved back into the air gates for the next ride.

Looking at money etc. I am not gonna be coming to this, would of been nice, but not after the crazy trip down to Devon Cornwall. Sorry people =[
 
Just curious more for Ian how's it going to work meetup wise for the people doing Avalanche ERT
 
Deadline has passed for payments. Please do not email asking about ERT or try sending me money as it wont count and you may still be charged.

I'll be emailing those who have paid very soon.

Incidentally, I'll be nabbing the pier cred then buggering off to Southport for a bit to see what creds there are to nab. Coaster-count reckons there's two but knowing that place it's anyone's guess!
 
Yes, the rumours are true, it's actually going to be SUNNY in Blackpool for a Live that I'm actually at!

We are going South pier if it's open first want to meet in Velvet? That's if you're going there.
 
Enjoy my hometown and have fun. Go to Notorianni's for an ice cream. They only do vanilla but what a vanilla, and a true South Shore institution. Less than ten mins' walk from the Pleas.
 
Hope it goes well. Time, work and a dodgy car has been against me - hopefully I'll meet some of you one day.
