Wow, they've finally released something to do with this. There is a pic somewhere on the nets of one of the boats on the back of a truck. (it'd take me ages of forum searching to probably find it)

I hate splash battles, they have awful capacity and are just boring. I really loathe the fact that Rainbow is building one because not only is it an awful type of attraction but it's going to ruin the look of the lake.

^ You see, I'm completely different. I LOVE them, they're such good fun and you can have a real laugh on them. If it holds interactive elements too and not just a shooting at another boat feel, it'll be great. They're actually really quite successful with families too.

^ Are they though? I've never seen a queue for Alton's.

I can see why kids would love them, but they're just not for me. There's no actual ride aspect to them, it's just squirting water.
