The tourist town of Bojnice has announced a new theme park to be built within its borders, provisionally called Education and Entertainment Center Bojnice. Set to be the largest amusement park in Slovakia, the park will be themed to Slovakin myths and folklore, and is set to sport three rollercoasters, including what appears to be a B&M wing coaster. Many other rides and attractions, including indoor theatres and a giant frisbee, are also planned.
The aim, according to investors, is to attract 550,000 visitors a year, and hopefully further boost tourism in the region. No construction timetable has been announced, but the developers hope to break ground in the coming year.
