Kate Nash - Made of Bricks

A truely truely amazing album - the lyrics on all of it mean so much.

Also ...

Mumm-ra - These Things Move in Threes

Another amazing album - very local band to me - just is ... well .... great! I've met them and interviewed them aswell for the local station which runs for a week a year which I'm in charge of.

She might be a Lily-ripoff, but Nash's next single from Made of Bricks is just as awesome as Foundations.

From Graduation:

1. Good Morning (Intro)- 7/10 Decent beat, kinda repetitive. Gets a little boring at times.
2. Champion- 4/10 I'd like it more if the voice of the chorus wasn't so freaking annoying
3. Stronger- 7/10 The single. The chorus is strong. A couple verses are weak beyond belief though
4. I Wonder- 8/10 This song works well in every way. The voice over works amazing with the beat and I love the verses
5. Good life ft. T-Pain 7/10 Nice beat, lyrics...but T Pain annoys me.
6. Can't tell me Nothing- 1/10 I hate everything about this song.

I'll finish my review later

^ The only song I'm liking at the moment is Homecoming. The rest are all crappy. I haven't listened properly yet, though... and I don't think I'll bother.

Some of my recommendations are brand new. Some are quite new. Some are quite old. I recommend:

Fantastic Playroom - New Young Pony Club

Best songs: Grey, F.A.N., Tight Fit, Ice Cream, Hiding On The Staircase, Get Lucky, Jerk Me, The Get Go & The Bomb. Bascially I LOVE every single song on the album apart from one, which is only alright.

Dying To Say This To You - The Sounds

Best Songs: Song With A Mission, Tony The Beat, Queen Of Apology, 24 Hours, Painted By Numbers, Ego, Don't Want To Hurt You, Much Too Long Now, Running Out Of Turbo & Night After Night (Alternative Version). Yet again there's only one song on the entire song I'm not liking that much.

Lose All Time - You Say Party! We Say Die!

Best Songs: Can't be arsed to type them all out. Basically every song yet again.

Fever To Tell - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Best Songs: All of them, really. My favourite has to be Pin.

Finally I recommend Britney Spears - Gimme More. It's her brand new single (after the crazy stage :p) and her greatest song in my opinion. Leaked only a few days back.

Hard-Fi - Once Upon A Time In The West

200px-Once_Upon_a_Time_in_the_West.JPG

Went out and bought this yesterday and I personally this it's brilliant! Typical Hard-Fi songs about their lives, loves and the minimum wage! Recommended if your into indie / rock music.

^ Hard-Fi upset me. Everything they attempt to write sounds the same and it makes me angry.

Anyway! A few songs I'm a bit in love with at the minute..

Freaks - The Creeps

This is so tacky and awfully Japanese but I love it anyway. WARNING: It can get quite addictive:

Well cheers me up, lol at the weird recorder chorus!
