Oz was only rated by a few people I don't expect it to make the top 20.

That can help a ride in Mitch's poll and is precisely why suspicions of manipulation have arisen recently.

I'm very curious about Skyrush.
I've seen a lot of people ranking it number one, or in their top 5, but I've also seen some people place it very low, which really makes me wonder if it will manage a top 5 position or not. I would be very surprised if it was not in the top 10 tough.

What about OzIris? I've heard nothing but rave reviews of that ride!

There's a certain influential group that got bummed with their ERT request on OzIris, resulting in them all hating it.... so I wouldn't expect much from it.

It was not very good anyway, there are far better inverted coasters out there.

The group in question did actually ride it and gave mixed views like people have on here.

Half our group loved it half thought it was average. It's a good solid coaster in a park with quantity over quality rides, it's just no where near as good as nemesis, montu, inferno etc. I think people who don't like really intense rides like it, but I like high g etc so that's my problem with it. Just when you think this is going to be good it slows down, but the zero g is probably the best out there (but as I said I like high g).

It did not make my top 20 anyway.

But what do I know, I did not rate tatsu that high either lol.

If Skyrush weren't to make it into the top 10, that would be an unfortunate breakdown of the Mitch Hawker poll to properly aggregate popular vote. Based on my own observance of ratings - I would hope it break the top 5. It may just have to settle for top 10 though.

It will be interesting to see how Leviathan will play as well.

Really not a big shock, it is as it generally lines up.

I know the enthusiast thing to do is dislike MForce, but wow all the way to 14 now.
So glad to see Skyrush make #7 : D and shocked Shambhala was that high. Figured top 20 even 15 but wow #6.

And I wanna find some people who've ridden the mega lites...I'm sure they are forceful and fun but I can't believe they both keep getting Top 10s!

I have the same question. A few on TPR have said they are jam packed with airtime, and I can only assume they are forceful....but yeah I can't see how it's a top 10 ride but that's why riding is the only way to know for sure. In the POV Skyrush seemed kind of lame after all, then I rode it and screamed like a little girl and thought I was gunna die :--D

As for Shambhala I think it looks like one of the best, if not best, B&M hypers. Was a shocker though it made #6

^Shambhalas recieved really positive reviews from the community (and moi), it deserves its place there, it's a lovely coaster!

Never rode a Mega-Lite myself, but people have said they're fun little coasters with shed-loads of airtime. So I can see why they get their praise too.

I forgot to vote in for this poll, but pleased with the results, nice to see GeForce is getting a bit of love again!

I have no doubt that mega-lites are top 10 material. If I get to Asia/Denmark and get to ride one, it'll probably immediately shoot to my top 5, or 3. However, as I'm looking at this, I'm noticing that Mega-Lite had only 10 riders. I just wonder if every single mega-lite is the best thing ever. (Waiting for the inevitable "Yes" on that one)

NTG is definately on my to-do list, I remember watching a TPR video a while back and you could really see the air-time and ridiculous near-misses. Seeing it as 3rd raises my impressions further, I need to get on this!

Yes they are that good, it's very hard to believe when you stand next to it, just how awesome it is.
Piraten is my favorite ride in the world, even beating out Expedition Geforce (which is amazing).


The only reason I can think of, to why Piraten is no longer in the top 10, is that it starts to get some riders (36) compared to the other mega-lite's, and with more riders, the bigger the chance that someone didn't like it, and rank it lower on their list.

(I'm not saying it should be higher up, just why the other one's are ranked so much higher)

Yeah...I have just accepted that it can't be possible for so many people to be wrong LOL I'm just in a small minority that thinks MForce as a top 5 coaster still. What can ya do? The people have spoken and I take Mitch's results as the word of god! I also needa get on BDash and Bizarro.

Don't get me wrong, I was surprised, but Shambhala looks sick. Wish so badly it was somewhere in the states!
