How many theme parks have opened/closed in the 21st Century?

This is a worldwide park discussion. I've recently been thinking of the rate of theme park industry growth this century and it got me racking my brains trying to work out just how many parks we've lost and gained since the 21st century began.

I've seen a lot of local parks go down throughout the UK, but I think making a topic on this could give us a comprehensive idea on the rate in which parks have opened and closed over the last 16 years.

Six Flags New Orleans and AstroWorld definitely come to mind as the more notable ones that have closed. Geauga Lake too.
