Starliner Finds New Home

They need help to move the coaster from Orlando though, am shocked any bought it after the way Legoland ripped it down.

According to this article a few Florida business owners have purchased the Starliner from Legoland Florida with the plan to move it all back to Panama City, FL. They’ve launched a Facebook page to help with the project. One big way you can help is the Pepsi Refresh project. Remember how everyone helped the Conneaut Lake Blue Streak win a $50,000 grant last month? The Starliner is now up for voting for a $250,000 grant from Pepsi to rebuild it. Vote here today and every day!

Well thats a bit of good news at least. Just hope they can raise the cash they need. Its good to hear they are going to keep it in Florida too!

So, similar to ECG's topic about Blue Streak, some business men have purchased the Starliner coaster from Legoland FL, and put it up on the Pepsi Refresh project for $250,000.

So, vote until October 31, and keep it in first place!

I hope they get the money (I voted) - but can't but feel that the majority of non-enthusiasts on the site will ensure the money goes elsewhere.

The lack of clarity in terms of how this is going to work in the long run is also worrying from a casual voter's perspective, I would suspect.
