Hammering up to 150! (Featuring Florida 14)

Day 9:

First up we did the Great Movie Ride and for the first time got the cowboy scene rather than the gangster one!

We then did Toy Story Mid Way Mania. I like Toy Story but I prefer shooters with a proper gun, this ride makes my arm hurt.

We the did One Man's Dream, which I enjoy. Lots of different things to look at:

Next up we did Star Tours. I love Star Tours, especially since the refurbishment.

It was then lunch, we went to the Sci Fi Diner. I hadn't eaten in there since 2007. The food was great, so good in fact I didn't really get a good picture in time...

I love the clips that are shown.

We then watched the Indiana Jones Stunt Show, which was good, but I have seen it too many times so know what is going to happen.
Then we saw Muppet Vision 3d, which was better than I remembered it. Then we watched a clip of Guardians of the Galaxy, it was boring.
Then we did something we had never done before, Storyline development. A grumpy person explaining how a character is developed. It was interesting.

The we rode my favourite non coaster ride!

I love Tower of Terror, a lot!!!

Day 10:

Started with me cutting my foot and a morning by the pool.
A quick lunch:

and it was off to Fun Spot America, a park I had really been looking forward to visiting.

First up was the +1:

Then the Enterprise:

Up next was:

There was lots of freedom due to the new style Vekoma restraints. But the coaster was dull. The colour scheme is good.

Next up was the cred of the trip that I had been looking forward to the most, White Lightning!

White Lightning is awesome, a top five coaster! It is very well paced, has a good drop and lots of airtime.

In total I rode White Lightning ten times. 2x front. 2 x middle. 6x back!

Next up was Revolver, a big wheel. How dull it was.

Then it time to ride the Carousel, which was decent.

Rip Curl was ridden next, it was decent.

Taco Bell for tea was a mistake.

Day 11 - Harry Potter stuff at Universal.

I literally don't give a flying monkeys about Harry Potter.

We queued for twenty minutes to get into Diagon Alley, there were fans:

London did look really good:

There was a bus:

It was time for the cred!

Ahead was a long queue!

The coaster was down at this point.

Goblin or something:

Not going to spoilt anything, there was a pre show.

There is no question that this is a coaster. There are launches and drops. Overall it is good.

There times where the ride stops and stuff happens on screens, some involve a dragon

The character voices are comic though.

Went to a Harry Potter restaurant thing for lunch. It did not do any normal person drinks.

After all the Harry Potter, the group spilt. I went to Springfield to meet some friends.
I got a nice drink along the way:

Rode the Simpsons Ride, Men in Black and Twister. I got to be a villain in Disaster!
NASCAR Sports Grill for tea:

Day 12 - Magic Kingdom:

We went just for the evening

Started with a ride on Space Mountain!
Then we moved on to Big Thunder Mountain. BTMR really surprised me on this trip to Florida. I had spent years overlooking it. BTMR is very good.
We then did Under the Sea, which is decent. It is a little mermaid ride.

Then it got very stormy:

We rode Carousel of Progress twice during the storm, there's a great big beautiful tomorrow.
Then we did Mad Hatter Tea Party. Luton are know as the Hatters, boo them.

Then it was time for some tea and music, or 'bangin tunes' as I believe that is the term for music these days.

We then did Splash Mountain and Pirates of The Caribbean, in the latter there was:

Such scared, much pirate.

Then we did Jungle Cruise in the dark, which is always interesting.

We then and watched Wishes, which now has an absolutely brilliant new pre show, that I'm not going to write about or spoil.
Wishes was simply the best fireworks around!

Then I shared a coke with an elf:

We then headed back into Tomorrow Land:
I love it at night!!!

A ride on the awesome Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin happened and it was off back to the villa.

Day 13 - Animal Kingdom:

Started with a ride on Everest:

The theming is awesome, Everest is such an underrated coaster.
Had three rides in total. One back, one front and one middle.

Next up was:

Still really like these rapids.

It was then time for lunch, nom:

Some changes had been made since last time. A new route had been opened, it didn't really make any difference.

We then watched:

In its new home. The new theatre is an improvement as a real queuing system has been put in place, which makes things easier. The theatre layout and show are still the same. Still brilliant, much better than the Lion King West End show.

We then stopped for a cookie,

Then I had to ride Primeval Whirl, twice. It is terrible.

Day 14 started at a shopping outlet.

After much shopping we headed for an evening at Sea World.

We arrived and decided to get an early tea. We managed to find somewhere decent to eat, which was a surprise for Sea World.

Sadly there is no cookie in bag shot.

I like the cups:

It was then time for the best show at Sea World, Sea Lions Tonight.

Then we had two rides on Kraken:

And a ride on Manta.

Traffic on the I4 caused an hour delay on the way home. I'll leave you with:

Day 15 - EPCOT

We started the day by riding Soarin and riding Living With The Land. Then it was time for an early lunch:

We then rode Journey Into Imagination with Figment, which was fab as always!

Afterwards I made my own Figment!:

We then did Mission Space and did some game thing in training lab.
Then it was time to ride Maelstrom!

Then we rode the Gran Fiesta Tour, then Test Track. My car:

Then we saw Impression du France, which was awful!
And then had a cookie and a drink;

We listened to British Revolution twice and got chips at some point:

They were nice chips!

Passed by some awful Canadian band:

I can only think of one good Canadian band.

Then we went on:

Then it was time for Illuminations Reflections of Earth. A very good show but not as good as Wishes.

Pretzels come in a green bag. I got the red bag, as seen in the photo, to eat in the car. The red packet is not just pretzels but a savoury mixture.

Day 17, started with breakfast:

We then headed to a not yet open Old Town:

So went next door to Fun Spot!

From what I remember it was vile.

Fun Spot USA has nothing on Fun Spot America but it ok.

The we swanned around weird shops, talking to Americans about why they hate Obama and waited for the rides to open.
It was a very, very hot day and we needed a drink. Luckily this was on hand:

A&W is the best root beer by a mile!

Then stuff was opening so I rung the bell and left:

Next up was Windstorm, upon arrival it was undergoing checks:

So we stood in the heat waiting to ride it!

It was vile, we then got a free ride for waiting, oh joy!

Then it was time to leave Old Town:

Day 18 - IOA

We began with two rides on a walk on:

Then had two rides on a nearly walk on:

Hulk is still awesome!

Then it was time for a ride on:

Then two rides were had on my favourite log flume:

Jordan and I were mildly moist after that!

Then we grabbed a snack!

And rode the best rapids, in the world!

Then we did Forbidden Journey. I hadn't been on it since 2010. It is still amazing! A must do!

After an excellent ride, we did Hippogriff, burdenous ride.
Then we trekked through the Dragon Challenge queue and started with fire, back row. Luckily this exists:

Then we headed to the Hard Rock Cafe:

Day 19 started with a lizard in the villa, defences were quickly erected:

I was provided with state of the art pest control equipment:

After the lizard avoided capture we went to the outlet mall. Upon arrival it was lunch time:

Next we went to Theme Park Connection. A place that sells theme park stuff and has sold a WDW monorail train. It is also the studio for the Attractions Magazine Show.

I picked up a few cool things. Then we went for an early tea at IHOP:

Then we went to Hollywood Studios for the evening:

I'm glad the backlot tour has gone. It was dated and any new attraction will be much, much better.

We started by watching Journey Of The Little Mermaid, featuring a really hot mermaid.
Then we did Tower of Terror.
We then moved on to Rock N Rollercoaster:

We finished by doing Star Tours twice and watching Fantasmic:

Day 20: Return to Hollywood Studios

We parked in:

First ride to do was Midway Mania:

I came second.
Then we had some nice pretzels:

And went to watch LMA:

Hopefully Disney will get rid of LMA, once you've seen it once it becomes a bit boring.

Then I did Rock N Rollercoaster three times:

It was then time for tea, these where too spicy for me to eat:

We went into some Frozen shop and I got a cookie:

We then saw One Man's Dream. And then got some ice cream:

Then Jordan and I rode Star Tours twice and headed over to walk on TOT! I got some pretzels:

We got loads of different ride cycles and got to see the fireworks from the top! We also had the last ride of the day!

Day 21 - Malls:

No theme parks on this day, sadly.

There was a tent sale:

But then the rain came:

So people used cardboard boxes to keep dry....

Then we went to the Florida Mall, where it was root beer time:

I learnt that make up has funny names:

Then for tea we went to some veggie place:

Day 22:

We went straight to the new:

There were buttons to push in the queue:

Jordan became a transformed:

It is a Spiderman type ride:

Transformers is very good, but it isn't as good as Spiderman. Spiderman has better effects and an overall better ride experience.

Next went to Rip Ride Rockit. I don't know what was going on with it. Trains were being sent round half empty. I'd never seen anything like it! Don't know the **** Universal were doing! A real shame because I love the ride! Sadly we only got to ride it once. I listened to Painkiller by Judas Priest.

It was then lunch time, nom:

Then we went on a train ride:

Foxton is near Cambridge!! Biggleswade is where Mushroom originates from, I believe!

It is a seriously impressive ride! I don't like Harry Potter but the train ride is awesome. We went straight back on train:

A blurry photo, but it sort of shows 'St Noets'. This is a spelling mistake of a place near Cambridge called St Neots. I pointed this out to some embarrassed members of staff, who quickly corrected the error.

We then did:

I loved ROTM on this visit. In previous years I must have overlooked it! It is so good and it has made it into my top ten!
Then we did my favourite shooter, Men in Black:

We then went and looked around the new expanded Simpsons area, which I prefer to Harry Potter:

Because the drinking age in 'the greatest country on Earth' is 21, I couldn't have a duff beer. So I had a flaming moe

It was quite nice, not as nice as duff beer according to my dad.

We then did:

Simply, but fun!

We went to the NASCAR Sports Grill for tea:

Sadly it is being re-themed.

We then went to Walmart, where I found the MURICA isle!
