And then probably the most important goals I've seen, the comeback from a 3-1 first leg play off semi final defeat to win 3-0 in the second leg thanks to a Scott Rendell 119th minute goal!

I've seen some real beauties in my time but this one will be forever burned into my memory as one of the greatest.
RFK Stadium in Washington DC is a baseball park and the press box wraps around the left corner, so I was sitting just above the goal as Saeed Al Owairan came flying down the field toward me. Definitely the best goal of the 1994 World Cup.

93rd minute... (may have made quite a bit of noise when that went in - I was about level with the 6yd line on the far side lower section)

Volume levels increasing when this went in - he messed up the kick a bit, but it was pretty significant...

If you want to be technical, a field GOAL technically is a goal. It's as close to soccer as football can get really. I just have the wrong sport.
