Favorite Coaster Sounds/SFX

[Hutch]

All coasters have some sort of sound or sound effect they make as they run.

A couple of my favorites include:
Intamin hydraulics
Cheetah Hunt as it goes through each of the launches

But this next sound is and always will be somewhere special within my heart (I'll let you guys figure out what the particular sound is ):

B&M roar and Cheetah Hunts launches! Also Space Mountian's SFX and Stealths brake run.

I'll reiterate the Cheetah Hunt launch. Me and Maddie LOVED that noise.

I really like;

The noise as a train hits magnetic brakes, that wurrrrr noise.
Anti rollback on lift hills.
B&M Roar.
Airbrakes (mainly El Diablo leaving the station).

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Hearing Corkscrew's lift hill driving to Towers from about 15 miles away over the sound of the car itself and the radio. /slight exaggeration.

- B&M Roar
- The sound after a train has launched on an Intamin Accelerator (the rattling of the catwalk combined with what sounds like a flywheel spinning at 1000 RPM!)
- Disengaging from a lift-hill
- Corkscrew's old lifthill
- The sound of an Oblivion car going through the tunnel as a spectator.

I'm sure there's tons of other sounds that make me cream my knickers.

The metal-on-metal sound of a PTC train going down the track
Disengaging from a lift hill
Motor at the end of a B&M lift hill
Vekoma "whirr"
I'm also surprisingly partial to the shrieking noise of the LIM's on the Impulse coasters and California Screamin'.

Yesss! Just about to say this! I love that sound!

I'd also say Arrow chainlifts and the sound some B&Ms make when they engage the lift hill. Nitro's comes to mind as my favorite.

The "whoosh" sound that freefall towers make paired with the blast of air when standing next to them when the train comes to a stop

*The sound of an older wooden coaster going over a mid-course anti-rollback ratchet (the hill into Racer's turnaround)
*That "K-chhhh...K-chhhh.........K-chhhhhh" noise that Arrows make when they pull back into the station
*That whining noise that drop towers make
*If it's a zip that an amusement rides I probably like it
*Volcano: The Blast Coaster's launch
*That thumping noise that Vekoma boomerangs make when they release the train

B&M roar
Oblivion's lift chain. Sometimes you can hear the chain running as you enter X Sector. It's almost eerie
Intamin launch coasters as they hit the brakes
Th13teen's kicker wheel system. Gotta love that hum

The sound of some B&M inverts (like katun) when they get released from the chain lift.
