As such, glad to see this go as it was an eyesore and was never real busy. They were able to properly use the space to make something better there.

I do wonder what will replace the ride though...

We are arguably on the verge of Coaster War 2.0.

SFMM has restructured and is adding for 2013, and Cedar Point is plausibly getting ready for 2013 as well. Granted, it would be a smaller battle, but both parks may be looking at simultaneous additions.

Cedar Point always looked to me like they are missing some great family thrills in their coaster department.

Yes, except for the fact that there is now a stage taking up that spot for DJ Illuminosity and the dance crew.
