Nemesis Inferno

So last week I turned 20, and had a nice meal out and karaoke with non-CF friends...
But of course, I needed to do my annual trip to Chessie for my birthday, but wanted to make things a bit... Different to the average trip...
Taking an idea from John for a Rattlesnake ORP, I took it all one step further and decided to make an entire day based around being dressed up...
As Mexicans...
So we arrived around 9:30 outside a relatively busy car park, and proceeded to put on our 15 quid costumes... Good quality in the end... Even if the moustaches were rubbish...
Naturally Woodstock and John's Meerkat got involved...
As Fraser was running late due to trains of silliness, the 4 elected to head into the park and go to a 2 train Vampire... With much staring and amusement from other guests...
We practically walked straight onto Vampire, or we would've done if batching wasn't being done to a silly level... Oh wells... That out of the way, we elected to wait for Fraser outside Hocus Pocus...
Fraser arrived eventually, and we headed to our new natural home...
Mark was of course pretty excited to ride Rattlesnake in our costumes, as well as it being an old ride of his when working at the park...
After entertaining the staff (and attempting to keep our hats on heads), we hit up Runaway...
We had an enthusiastic operator for this and much entertainment was had as we attempted Mexican waves and such like... Once the ride was over, it was decided to go towards Tombs of the Blastery variety...
Alas, our plans of getting a photo were foiled due to them not working, so we decided to re-appear later in the day...
But first, Falls...
Many may not know this but Falls has had a slight rebranding recently, and has a new sponsor (not thrown in the face thankfully) and this epic new signs...
Which are amazing... But not as amazing as the girl next to Fraser in this pic...
Unfortunately, due to something... Fraser got separated from our boat Leading to him being barraged by the people behind him about his Mexican-ness...
Next up was Wild Asia...
After Swinger and Tuk Tuks, we had lunch at the Rameses chicken place, which was ok... We elected for annoying the animals time, so headed to the zoo...
Wanyama now has Mongoose next to the Meerkats...
We were more entertained by the silly humans though rather than the animals...
And of course, Meerkat times happened...
Meerkat orgy...
Will then decided to head into the tunnels to annoy the Meerkats further...
We then popped over to the lookout to see randy homosexual Zebras...
We also experienced the awesomeness of NOM Deer, but alas, I have no photos of him... John has footage though I'm sure which will hopefully show off how awesome he was...
After that, we headed towards the Fury field for.....
MARIO!
After comparing our moustaches and the like of dodgy Italian plumbing incidents, we did the best ride in the park...
No, not you Fury...
GRIFFINS GALLEON!!!! <3
Amazing ride...
Continuing the theme of kids rides... Toadies was done, even with annoying family behind us giving evils as if we weren't allowed to be in the queue...
After Toadies came the most random moment of the day, as we wanted to do Tomb again to get a photo, we turned left into Toytown, only to find at the other side (at the rocks) a group of gothic persons... What proceeded to happen was a stand-off of hilarious proportions and photos times...
Best moment of the day really... Was just fantastic and made the day for everyone involved...
Will then annoyed a Jackal...
Tomb annoyingly had a slow moving queue...
"Tonight, I'm going to be Ringo Starr..."
A quick drink in Nero happened, with the staff not at all interested in our costumes...
After Fury, we hit up Kobra...
After our spin on the Kobra (tm), we went back to Mexicana to pick up our ORPs and got one last group pic...
And with that ended another epic day at Chessie...
Honestly, it was superb, if annoying with the same question being asked everytime... But to see the staff's and guest's reactions to a group of us wandering around the park dressed up like that was brilliant...
Big thanks to John, Will, Fraser and Mark for putting up with the idea and costumes...
