Alton towers theming.

I dont really understand the themed areas at Alton towers the only one i really got was dark forest! Please dont post anything sarcastic cos this is a serious question

That's not a question, it's clearly a statement.

However I'll try to help out.

Towers Street - erm.. a street!
Mutany Bay - Pirate area many small themed rides here and that show in the courtyard.
X-Sector - It's sort of like, a sci-fi "1984" society theme with a cold uncaring feel.
Dark Forest - You get this one.
Cloud Cuckoo land - Is like a mental kid's dream fantasy place.
Gloomy Woods - A haunted wood section with ghost attractions and spooky statues.
Forbidden Valley - An area, maybe a bit like Monument Valley in Utah, where lots of dangerous things live... and Air.
Katanga Canyon - Is like, the Grand Canyon ish? I'd say it's American, with the train and the rapids.

Some rides don't fit in any themed area. Like Sonic Spinball and The Flume.

Forbidden valley, I think is meant to have a post-apocalyptic feel to it and that air is maybe like a mirage.
