Well I'm shattered after the 2 days, so I will do our ride count for now, while Peter drives home .

I think that's it for both days, but I'm tired, so I probably forgot something. 'Twas a great 2 days, and thanks to Peter for the lift etc.

It sort of did fail because Maelstrom was dead Everything else seemed fine though I shall do a trip report later, seeing as I have time.

Um, good day(s)! The parks wern't that busy giving it is Easter, and epic whoring of Nemesis SRQ let us have the high count - I got off and back on the same train 3 times in a row!

Alton Towers - Monday 6th April 2009
Well I should start a trip report now

So the day started with a lovely 5:45 start, we left my house by like 6:30 and had got to the park at the ridiculously early time of 8:05 or something.

Got the monorail, did that, waited, waited and the gates then opened at 9am.

I went with him, we then had a leisurely stroll to Ritard.

We got first train of the day, front row goodness.

Quickly got another go on Ritard, and walked over to Oblivion.

This is Peter waiting to get on oblivion, which at this stage was pissing me off with the lack of people being able to ride. About 10 minutes of waiting and we were allowed on. We did Oblivion 3 times before moving on.

We waited until 10 to get on this thing...

But it failed, so we walked across this thing...

That's the Valley and not the Sky ride cable.

Well we walked that annoying walk to get on the sexy ride that is...

Nemesis. Did single rider, I got front row right seat and bloody hell, it was running so God damn well, 4 more goes on single rider followed, before heading off to do Err.

But unusually :roll: It were fooked, so we did Duel twice Epic good fun as usual.

Toilet - The Ride was next, then we did Sharkbait reef.

It was alright, just a more permanent version of Chessie's one.

Heave Ho! was next for my Rock 'n' Tug count :lol: Then I think we did Spinball single rider, before moving on to do Oblivion twice more.

Then Hex was to come, it were its usual crap self. The Haunting <3

Peter got scared on Hex, and we were at the front of the group leading the group, but they were always about 10 feet behind us :roll:

After getting off, we had a took a walk around the towers, 'twas fun. Did squirrel Nutty, and then took the sky ride.

Nemmie was next, 5 times again which was lush Including 3 times back row right seat

Then we could finally do Err.

Queued ages in single rider, but we ended up both getting front row sat next to each other, which was nice, despite the awful ride.

After Air, I went to the toilet and bought some doughnuts, scrummy

Took the Skyride to see the mess that is the Corkie site

Rita was loading

Rita was being in my way as well

More...

And for a close up.

Then I think we wandered around Cloud Cuckoo Land and stuff, doing Oblivion twice more including a hot dog for myself.

Then we headed back towards Ritard for 4 goes on her, and to get some pictures.

I feel like I left a huge part of the day out, but meh.

Great Trip Report.

Really made me start missing the magic of the towers and made me miss Corky even more

By the look of the poster, I guess the 2010 coaster will be themed to dark forest!
