This is actually old news by now but it doesn't look like there's a topic for it. To me, this seems a bit like vapor ware since they're referring to it as an amusement park, yet it appears to mainly be a conference center with an entertainment district (movies, restaurants, mall?, etc) included. They mention rides and a roller coaster, but for all we know, it could very well end up being a SBF Visa spinner. Plus, building a legitimate amusement park basically half way between Cedar Point and Kings Island sounds like a moronic business decision.

Yep. Definitely not happening. It's north of Columbus in the middle of nowhere and that is a LOT of investment for that area. It would be MUCH more logical to be closer to Columbus proper, possibly on the west side outside Hillard, but in Delaware? Nope. The land is there but if it comes together, it may be some baseball fields and that's it.

I do also think that it's funny they showed downtown Columbus like that's where it's going. You're at least 30 minutes drive from where the proposed location will be.

What do you mean? Cedar Point gets 3.6 million visitors annually, and Kings Island gets 3.4 million. That means this park, located right between them, could have seven million people visiting every year!

That's how logic works, right?
