Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown
Gerstlauer isn't involved. We're talking about taking Intamin, Premier Rides, the developers of spider man/transformers, the developers of forbidden journey, among several other MAJOR players and collaborating under one roof. This ride is going...
Re: Universal Studios Florida | Unknown | Unknown
Its not Gerstlauer. This is going to be the highest capacity theme park attraction in the world, and Gerstlauer isn't even in the same light year as the kinds of technology that are being incorporated into this project. What you should be...
Re: Phantasialand | Chiapas?| "Water Ride"
Does it matter? Phantasialand is a top notch park - and I'm thinking that this ride will be the sleeper hit of 2013.
Exactly, I think it'll make a rather nice first impression for park go-ers. It should be real interesting to see (overtime) if people go left into Raptor or right towards GateKeeper. I'm thinking you'll see substantially lower wait times at Raptor as it falls into the Gemini, Corkscrew, Magnum...
Re: Mirabilandia |"DiVertical"| Intamin (?) Water Coaster
This ride looks worse and worse as they add more and more to what it already is. What a shame...
Which is fine, and I hope everybody enjoys the ride - but to call it special when it comes from the same recipe as every other coaster from the B&M catalog shows how out of touch Europeans can be when it comes to new coasters. Shambhala will be great for the massive amount of people that visit...
To all of you going ape **** over the Point of View video - this ride is no different than any other over-engineered B&M hyper in the world, the hills will feel the same as anything does here in the United States, and the forces are controlled to create a comfortable and smooth experience...
Re: Mirabilandia |"DiVertical"| Intamin (?) Water Coaster
This ride is nothing like Hydro. If this ride had the same style drop that Hydro does - I'd probably give it more credit, but DiVertical doesn't even drop - it ramps into a shallow pool of water before navigating a rather pointless...
Re: Mirabilandia |"DiVertical"| Intamin (?) Water Coaster
It ramps down a 45 degree incline into a pool of water - will then roll over the top of a hill, make a U-turn into a mid course brake run. Followed by that it makes a downward spiral and ends in another pool of water. You can't use...
Re: Mirabilandia |"DiVertical"| Intamin (?) Water Coaster
I'd love to hear the logic on how this could be the best ride ever. Anybody want to humor me?
