The Gravity Group made an announcement at IAAPA that they are building four new coasters in China with three slated to open in 2014 and the fourth in 2015. Little else was announced other than this one will be the last to open in 2015. The Gravity Group also said that one or more of the three at the Fantawild parks will include inversions similar to the one they built for Hades 360 at Mt. Olympus this year.

No sign of the GG woodie yet but a new billboard shows where it will be.

2 other coasters are up though, A Chinese built mine train and a Vekoma boomerang.

Re: Fantawild Adventure Wuhu | Unknown | Gravity Group woodi

Exciting news. Gravity Groups new woodie at the Fantawild Cultural Heritage Park in Wuhu is going up. Found some satellite images of the park under construction.

The image of the new Gravity Group coaster clearly shows the footers plotting the rough layout and what appears to be the coasters inversion already built. (Both Jinan and Wuhu are confirmed to get inverting woodies with different layouts)

This is the third Fantawild park in the city which makes the cities coaster line up pretty impressive. Also shown below are an image of the whole park, the new Vekoma Boomerang and an image of the building which has been built over the top of the parks mine train coaster. This is an interesting development in itself and it appears the Jinan version will also be enclosed.

Without further ado here are the pictures.

That Gravity Group woodie has a very interesting vertical layout, can't wait for the ground pictures to come around.

Here's some construction shots of the GG/M&V wooden coaster at the Fantawild Cultural Park in Wuhu.
The inversion is hard to spot but it goes over the first drop and can bee seen on the left of the third image.

Looks like it could be a cracking ride with some good airtime.

Been a while but here's an update on the Wuhu Fantawild Cultural Heritage Park park.
I just came across a TON of pictures which can be found here but I have attached the wooden coaster ones below.

The Jinan Cultural Park was supposed to open yesterday. Expect a POV of the O&B looping woodie MVR built there in the next few days.

I really really really don't like the look of the inversions on Gravity Group's woodies - they're so prolonged and just, NO.

I know Ben doesn't want to hear this, but I've got to get to China sooner rather than later.

^Please don't. Let me have this one thing.

I need to go back but then it's knowing there'll be another amazing woodie built straight away!

Re: Wuhu Cultural Heritage Park | Unknown | Gravity Group wo

Next year is the time to go.
All the Fantawild woodies should be open as should GCI's Viper.
The projects I think I know about for Martin & Vleminckx Rides in China are

Fuzhou - Happy Valley
Shunde - Unknown
Xiamen - Fantawild
Chongqing - Happy Valley
Xian - Happy Valley

All three Happy Valley parks are due 2017 or later, Xiamen's Fantawild should open end of this year or early next and Shunde doesn't have a park under construction yet (that we know about)

Basically if you go summer next year you should be safe for a year :p
