^ I almost think so to, due to the fact that the curvature at the top the lift is so tight, that the "newer" 6 seat trains won't be able to handle it.

At what point does having too many brakes on the drop become cheating

Afterburner for example easily beats the El loco's on drops but has more brakes

Re: Fuji Q - Eurofighter (Launched?)

^When they stop the car/train from actually dropping at all? As demonstrated by that video.

There may be some control over the crest of the hill on the El Locos and this new coaster at Fuji Q, but at least they do actually drop right after that, and over the steepest part of the track.

^ True, and that is much more acceptable than Afterburner which, after watching that video, I almost question being classified as a roller coaster at all haha.

Afterburner is actually dire. I class it as more of a flat ride then anything else..

To be honest, I think this ride has more of a genuine right to claim the Steepest drop (if it is steeper than El Loco, Which I'm not saying it is) then any El Loco going...

Apparently, in translation, it basically means "Dominant". So, yeah, just see it as "Dominator". Oh, by the way, does anybody know the theming of this or what will be inside the building?!

Re: Fuji Q - Eurofighter (Launched?)

Isn't it Japan where they already have the sex themed park?

Isn't it Japan where everything is sex-themed even when you don't think it is...haha, I'm only kidding but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sex themed park.

Showing the evacuation/maintenance elevator on the tower, anyone know if the other Euro Fighters have them as well?

Not sure how many have them, but others definitely do (i.e. Saw at Thorpe)

Another video!

This time it's time-lapse construction.

I know it's a Eurofighter, but it looks amazing.

Also, whilst looking at it's RCDB page, the max vertical angle is down as 122 degrees. Presumably that is on the tower drop (or whatever it's called), which makes it the steepest free-fall drop in the world. That SMASHES Flamingoland's record.
