Finally while I cannot see anything really happening in the surveyed area something is still going on behind edge.

Edit: Also just looked on their planning applications and they have been granted permission to build that 30m telecommunications tower in the car park, there are a few conditions but nothing to bad so you should get great phone signal in the future.

We were there last week. They have marked a lot of things out on the ground over that side of the park behind the hedge near Cobra (underground ducts, sewer pipes etc). Wouldn’t be surprised if they start something in the near future.

Splash Lagoon looks really good it really complements Raging River like how River Rafts does with Tiger Rock. I can certainly see Raging River getting an upgrade in the coming years (like Viking Voyage at Emerald Park).

I look forward to seeing more in the future including the long awaited dark ride.
