Not a TV Programme but on Radio 2 RIGHT NOW they're talking about Saw: The Ride and how it's a bad idea and teaches kids to be violent or something lol.
They're also doing call ins about it so you can all share your thoughts as well.

The BBC iPlayer Link:

The main article starts at around 1:36.30.

Quite interesting really, they make Saw - The Ride sound worse than it really is. Brendan Walker (the ‘thrill engineer’ working for Merlin) adds his opinions, although I think ‘21st century ghost train’ is a bit far, it’s clearly not themed enough. But it’s a really good feature, well worth listening to.

Yeah it was interesting to listen to. Although some people made it sound like it's really violent and gory as they were clearly assuming the ride will be like the films.
Saying things like the ride is focussed on 'Torture porn' and drops riders into pits of spikes and throws blood over them lol. The people against it just really over-exaggerate.
And that guy who said how sick he felt after it and how he vomited and then went on to say they should of made the drop bigger.

It was a good listen. :)

I was just gonna post about this. It looks like they're gonna try and do something like that thing on Blue Peter, to find the Uk's scariest ride, but only test two or three.

Also, NoLimits will go from a game that as far as I'm aware is not very well known into something huge!

So so far we've found out that Apocalypse is the best rollercoaster in the UK.
Off course it ****ing is. Air is also an inverted coaster to them, and they showed a small shot of a Nemmie POV during the Air one and thought they could get away with it.
There's so much wrong with the it's untrue. Even the Blue Peter one was more factual.

Now we've got to wait through a review of lawnmowers before they talk about NoLimits and Simulators.

^ yeah, noticed that they started talking about roller coasters then slowly started drifting into "rides" instead of "coasters".

It is an interesting comparison still though, drop rides still scare me, coasters not so much!

First time I've seen a Drayton Manor TV advert though! Some inspired airtime sales going on there (airtime as in TV advert air-time, not coaster airtime!) ;-)

I have seen the Drayton advert around 40 times now.

It is poor unless they make up for it in the sims part.

Ok so Apocalypse isn’t a roller coaster. But I’m glad they tested it anyway. The adrenaline read outs were off the scale, which was about my estimation too when I first rode it. The simulators were also quite awesome; it’s given me ideas.

The program should be available to watch again through the link soon:
