Pembrokeshire is a big tourist destination, and the location Oakwood's in is pretty near to places like Tenby or Narberth or something. Hell, they built Bluestone right next door, and that's
apparently a draw for people who like a slightly classier version of Center Parks.
Caravanning is /so/ popular, and the difference between roads in the summer and in the winter is staggering. We get a lot of people, for sure.
I think the idea that it's hard to get to is interesting. It's pretty cheap by train (once you hit Wales it's practically free
), and that can get you to within 3 miles. It's very easy by road - you just follow the M4 until it ends, keep heading on that road towards the ferry and turn off when it tells you to. It's a mile up that road. I suppose it's just because Wales feels barren and empty
Oh, there's also no After Dark thing, so no fireworks or opening till 10PM. Only 6PM :C
