Can't be worse than kiddy creds that keep taking laps for an eternity. I'm game.
It's one thing if it were in a park like a kiddie cred, but would you or @Peet really pay €7 for one ride on that?!

One ride, yes I expect so. If I was in the area and done more important activities first. Given its a unique ride (no matter how lack luster) and most fairs I come across have nothing at all of note this would be a welcome change.

I rode Banzai (presumably the same one unless there are multiples of this thing) in France back in 2005 or so. I remember very uncomfortable OTHRs, and the drop being intense. It's impressive for a travelling ride - surely the tallest travelling coaster out there?

Hunderfossen Familiepark in Norway (the one with Il Tempo Extra Gigante) appears to be building a new attraction.

However, I'm confused about what the hardware actually is here. The name suggests a thrill attraction, but it appears to be a 4D cinema of sorts.

The theme is the same IP as Il Tempo Extra Gigante: the Norwegian franchise "Flåklypa" based on the works of author Kjell Aukrust, which resulted in the Norwegian hit movie Flåklypa Grand Prix in 1975. It cannot be overstated how popular this franchise is in Norway (particularly the original movie, which sold more movie tickets domestically than the population of Norway during its cinematic run), but it remains fairly obscure elsewhere.

So, uh, I guess it will be of limited interest to international audiences, but Hunderfossen tends to cater to a domestic audience anyway. If any CFers were to venture up there to ride it I'd be glad to accompany them and do my best to explain, although a movie night featuring Flåklypa Grand Prix (which has been dubbed into English) might be in order first.

I gather from a few people who've been there in the last 10 days that 'Funland' in Weston Super Mare have replaced their three creds with... ANOTHER three creds.

I've noticed RCDB has been updated to reflect this and @Rollercoaster David may be able to tell us more

I'm delighted about this. Not just for the credonomics of having to drive down for Camel Creek's +2, but also because I can tie in to a night out/DJing in Bristol when everything opens fully.

Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but Screamer from Scandia Amusement Park that closed in 2019 was sold to Traders Village in Grand Prairie, Texas. The Prairie Screamer, the tallest E&F Miler Industries Hi-Miler, will open this fall.

Here's the full press release:

Dallas, TX April 27, 2021 – Family fun will rise to new heights at Trader’s Village in Grand Prairie with the installation of its new rollercoaster, The Prairie Screamer. This 87- foot high, 50 mph coaster will open to the public in fall of 2021 and will be the latest addition of exciting activity offerings in the Trader’s Village entertainment portfolio.

“Providing a memorable family experience has always been top priority at Trader’s Village,” Chris Kenney, General Manager for Traders Village, Grand Prairie stated. “When we decided to expand our amusement district, we wanted to add a family-oriented ride that was popular for all ages – something that wasn’t too scary and had a low height requirement so everyone could enjoy! We are counting down the days until we can see families experience the Prairie Screamer over and over again when they visit our grounds.”

Purchased by Trader’s Village in October of 2020, the rollercoaster, which was originally installed in Ontario, CA at the Scandia Amusement Park, was disassembled and shipped to TX. It has taken 10 months to fully refurbish the ride. The highest drop measures at 80 feet and lasts just under two minutes with two trains holding up to 10 riders.

The Prairie Screamer will join other popular rides at Trader’s Village including the Village Vortex, Pharaoh’s Fury, Star Dancer, Freddy’s Fender Bender, traditional Carousel and much more!

The 160 acre open-air marketplace is located on Mayfield Road, just off Highway 360 in Grand Prairie. Admission is free and parking is $5 per car. All day ride passes are $13.99 and once inside, events – including concerts – are free. While at Trader’s Village, visitors can shop from thousands of vendors, all while enjoying numerous family friendly activities including seasonal festivals and events.

Here's an old POV for those that aren't familiar with the ride.

I also asked Duane to add it to RCDB - https://rcdb.com/19262.htm

...when you go on RCDB and see *two* new credits showing up in Texas....but realize both are relocations and credits you already have. :(

Another one I haven't seen posted so far - Casino Pier on the Jersey Shore is adding a custom SBF Visa Big Air (hamster wheel) coaster called Xolo Loca for the 2021 season. For those wondering, Xolo is the name of Mexico’s native dog.

I heard about [Casino Pier]'s new SBF big air some time ago, it was supposed to debut first at IAAPA 2020 (which obviously didn't happen) before being sent to the park. Can't remember the source right now, this was around mid-2020.

Sad news. Unless it has had the best glow up in wacky worm history...

Wallis's Wonderful Wriggling Wirral Wacky Worm is no more.

Looks like it’s now a Wacky Whale/Silly Shark.
