Mush's Polish Adventure 2 - More creds required! (23rd - 26th September)

Mushroom

Goon of the Year
I had booked 4 days off from work, and didn't know what I wanted to do with them. Ended up saying to myself, time to goto Poland and get the 7 creds I need at Energylandia. My last visit was back in 2017, and included Legendia. This time no Legendia, mainly for Energylandia!
Friday 23rd
This was mainly a travel day for me as the flight was around 2pm. Grabbed some lunch at the airport...

309450706_10160772920717780_4005519864114897012_n.jpg

Yup, going Mexican to start the trip! The newish burrito place at Luton Airport is a must! Been there a few times now.
Flight time rolled around and it was time to board a Ryanair Buzz Boeing 737-MAX8-200 to Krakow!
309601246_10160772927032780_1398996040737104370_n.jpg

Buzz are a Polish subsidiary of Ryanair, and they don't advertise the plane as a max aircraft due to what happened. Flight went off without a hitch, little bit of a delay.
309262311_10160772927267780_8656869845329313786_n.jpg

Got through passport control fairly quickly, no questions asked, nice and simple! Now it was to get the hire car. I opted to get the smallest I could, as it was just me travelling. Got given a Fiat 500 Hybrid.

It will do the job getting me to Energylandia! My night stay was in Zator, about 5 minutes away from the park. It was called Kapsual Hostel. So obviously some shared facilities, grin and bear it for 2 nights at £22 total. With this place, you essentially get a little private capsule...
308525260_10160772927582780_1506147557523760427_n.jpg

It will do! But the hostel did have some nice wall art

308726556_10160772927752780_8625533600964673348_n.jpg

So bonus points for that! But I needed some beer... So off to the supermarket for some. Did find they were selling whole sunflower heads. Fair enough to them!
309206951_10160772927682780_8257997772244138155_n.jpg

The rest of the evening I just chilled, didn't do too much as creds were going to happen!

Saturday 24th September
Rose up early, needed to get some breakfast, so it was a quick hunt, and found a McDonalds en-route to the park. Thankfully with most McDonalds you can change their touch screens to a language you can understand, so managed to get some food, and had a pretty nice view too...

309248041_10160772927832780_4761189597446159112_n.jpg

Yup, Hyperion, the coaster that wasn't even built when I was last there. It was going to be the first port of call.

But first, let's get a selfie outside the park!
308834060_10160772927902780_1059276392647139812_n.jpg

And have a look at how huge Hyperion is!
308784452_10160772927962780_8074779067396173704_n.jpg

Yeah, pretty impressive! Energylandia had it's halloween and Ocktoberfest things going on. So the park was a little bit decked out

308631656_10160772928092780_5060896926978534295_n.jpg

Now it was time to wait for Hyperion...
308632771_10160772928177780_3244223081841379915_n.jpg

If you have already checked out Roller Coaster Review Show, you can skip this part =]
What a ball ache! There are metal detectors after the lockers, You are not allowed anything on you. Everything into a locker. Just a tad frustrating (Though the locker system was good! about £2 for the whole day). I had secure zip up pockets, and knew they were 100% safe, nope not allowed anything at all. According to @Nicky Borrill this is a very recent thing having metal detectors at the entrance of Hyperion. However, if you want my thoughts on the coaster, check out Roller Coaster Review Show thread in the ad's ;)

Next up was Speed, their Intamin water coaster. This was SBNO in 2017, so I missed out. I wanted this out the way so I wasn't wet for too long, or getting wet at the end of the day.

309097692_10160772928472780_5022160652726642708_n.jpg

Yeah, pretty decent, got a tad damp, that's all. Certainly a nice addition to the park.

309594495_10160772928572780_2162433680419963558_n.jpg

Now with the 2 creds in the 'original' part of the park done. It was time to head across the road.

309656133_10160772928622780_1527630117672382046_n.jpg

Had a quick look through the fence at Sweet Valley. Still a lot of work to be done on that part of the park. Big shame as it should of been opening by now. Maybe next year? Hopefully? But I got my first glimpse of my MAIN reason of coming here....

308672867_10160772928882780_5805314606793090603_n.jpg

Yup, Zadra! Pretty impressive. But I decided I wanted to sought out the kiddie cred first, Draak.
308754708_10160772929052780_4202117449061305547_n.jpg

Not a bad kiddy cred. Does the job. But now it was onto the beast!

309265188_10160772929112780_7751784389776540402_n.jpg

10 minute queue? Dziękuję Ci! But my god the actual queue line was HUGE! Probably could take a 4 hour + queue in that!

First ride... Back row... Once again check out Roller Coaster Review Show for my reaction ;)

Face says it all too! I was going to have to come back to this in a bit as I had 3 more creds to get. First up was...

309278727_10160772930022780_1062436478088145358_n.jpg

Quite a nice custom Vekoma Rollerskater. Shame it was only 1 lap. Now it was onto their newest area, Aqualantis. Home of the park's 2 newest coasters, Light Explorers and Abyssus. Frist up was Light Explorers.
308673600_10160772930147780_2280758193803627694_n.jpg

Little tease of the Mine Train coaster there!

308589094_10160772930627780_1457476711138950722_n.jpg

Nice custom boomerang coaster. Fits in really well. So that's 2 different boomerang coasters in 1 park... are we playing RCT? Oh well! Now for the main attraction of the area...

308657573_10160772931152780_8002846094741008641_n.jpg

Looking forward to this as I have been impressed with Vekoma's new work, especially Lech Coaster.

309293288_10160772931317780_7012550564917032484_n.jpg

My views are once again on Roller Coaster Review Show! Sorry to burst your bubble on this, gotta push it where I can haha! Now with that, I got all the coasters I needed at the park. There had been some queues which was slowing me up. So it was time for some re-rides. As I was in the area, I had to do Abyssus again. Made no sense trying to come back as it is a bit of a dead end around there right now.
But let's go back and ride Zadra again... Queue was up to 40 minutes, blagh. So I opted for a cheeky little front row. WOW! Shame about wearing goggles on-ride, but YEEEEESSSSSS!
308777131_10160772932187780_2495623778130268513_n.jpg

308579699_10160772932432780_3228815962109972280_n.jpg

Worth it, and grabbed a cheeky 3rd ride too! Can't wait to get back on it in the future. But sadly I needed to go ride Hyperion at least 1 more time to give it a fair review. but first, it would be rude not to ride Formula once again.

309061357_10160772932827780_7151216976863908512_n.jpg

Yup! Still packed a bit of a punch! Still very enjoyable.

308591894_10160772932987780_3345876163798457333_n.jpg

One thing I was glad I didn't have to do was Viking, the spinner... Even at 10 minute queue, I wasn't even considering a re-ride
308918191_10160772933567780_4705989920019593095_n.jpg

Got over to Hyperion, and managed to bag a front row ride. Though etiquette dictates, if you are first one through the batching gate, you take the far seat... Nope the kid in front of me takes a middle seat, and there was a couple in front of me, so had to take an edge seat. Not really happy about that as I was not willing to queue on my own again with nothing to do and no one to talk to. Had an alright ride.
After this I did my final piece to the camera summing up the 3 coasters on the review, and then headed out to film a bit of Hyperion from outside the park. The only place you could really see it. It was a tough day, had not eaten during the time on the park as it was almost constant queuing and riding for 8 hours! No breaks as such. I must of hit it on a bad day.

Energylandia is defiantly a 2 day park now. first day you need to get all the coasters, the 2nd, re-ride and get some of the other rides. It is a hard going park. But they seem to be doing well for themselves.

Up next. A quick cred run!

Wow you actually went for the capsual hotel, props to you!!! That’s hardcore given how cheap rooms / apartments are!!!

£11 a night though!!! That’s beyond silly. If I had the balls to do that, and catch the ryanair flights at £4.99 each way, I could potentially have 3 days in the park for £32!!! (With my annual pass.)

Sunday 25th September
Today was the day of the quick cred run. First up Zator Land!

308609831_10160772933937780_3650746323838957831_n.jpg

Only had a the Wacky Work to get...
308501089_10160772934177780_7704120425124581715_n.jpg

And I had the perfect shirt for today!
309379742_10160772933762780_5004235777317887764_n.jpg

'Only Here for the Wacky Worm' from the site https://www.coasterfashion.de/

It wasn't going to open while it was raining. I kept checking my rain alarm, and saw a fairly clear patch coming. Woo! Eventually it opened up and got my +1

308662523_10160772934267780_833398929362728149_n.jpg

Now it was time for a wander around Zatorland itself, and their dino park, luckily I didn't need this other cred as I got it 5 years ago! Phew! No cred anxiety!

310008886_10160772934907780_742646464185367683_n.jpg

The dino walk through was pretty decent with a lot on animatronic dinos

There was a little museum at the end of the walkthrough with some fossils etc.

There is also a new area called 'Park Mitologii'

It seemed very unfinished, and still a lot of work going on. Looked like there was a boat ride, available, but wasn't operating at the time. A little 4D cinema and a rope course

309512193_10160772937447780_1230570994587323979_n.jpg

Generally it was ok. Decent enough place. And I had cheekily parked down the road a bit, didn't have to pay for parking, and it was conveniently right near the entrance of Mitologii. Now off to park 2 of the day!

2nd park for the Sunday was Park Miniatur

308860390_10160772953867780_8980802590731525675_n.jpg

It was essentially a model village!
308793367_10160772953947780_2735726203852401510_n.jpg

Was kinda looking forward to looking around this place... Oh wait... There was a cred!

309081566_10160772954692780_6672019479520559030_n.jpg

The new mini apple coaster, an SBF Spinning coaster! There is loads of these around now. This did a silly amount of laps. Blagh, it was the last cred of the trip, and coaster #560.
Now the rest of the park... Some Egyptian replicas to start....
308845222_10160772954932780_6808340098330323519_n.jpg

308934830_10160772955147780_693891911304183019_n.jpg

They did have a rapids ride at the park, which was an up-charge! Didn't bother with it as it was fairly cold, and a bit damp. At least it wasn't one of them generic travelling rapids rides!
309347165_10160772955412780_5226864773337992947_n.jpg

They had a lot of world models dotted around

There was a a couple of extra rides. A pirate ship, ferris wheel and some dodgems

Spent a few hours here. A good time killer. And lots of interesting models. There are a few other different parks dotted in the same area like Dinolandia. Funny enough Fomo Coaster was at that park while I was at Park Minitar.
I was feeling quite drained after the day at the park, so I decided to call it a day early, at around 2pm. I needed to head back to Krakow airport for my flight the next day. So an hour drive back to there... I wanted to get something on the way back to the airport, but nothing was open. Damn! Pretty much all the shops were closed on a Sunday. Oh well! got back to the airport, dropped the car off as I didn't need it anymore. Not too bad of a view from the car park, shame about the fence.
308614567_10160772957092780_1168751943314265883_n.jpg

Managed to get hold of my hotel for the shuttle to the hotel from the airport, and thus I was on my way to there. Private room for the night with an en-suite. Thank god! Just the little things eh?
308860367_10160772957172780_5007336300239925285_n.jpg

Managed to find a supermarket for a couple of supplies, and the hotel had a list of local takeaways available. Could order online, which was a winner. So opted for a pizza
.
308511802_10160772957282780_7030852342049460847_n.jpg

I was hungry, and hadn't eaten properly for a couple of days now. Having missed lunch twice haha! It went down a treat!
The next morning it was a stupid early start to catch my flight home. Glad I got a cup of tea at the airport, was needed. I purposely went out to Poland with the intention of buying a shirt from Energylandia, which was a success. So I wore it on the flight home.

So there we go! Mush's Polish Adventure 2 is done! Do like my solo travels, but it still better with friends. Next up for me is a massive Denmark trip taking in BonBon Land, Djurs Sommerland, Farup Sommerland, Legoland & Tivoli Gardens. With the possibility of doubling my cred count for the year in that 1 trip is pretty damn good! You know me, I don't usually do trip reports, I normally do the talky talk on my YouTube and Twitch. But I kinda felt compelled to do this one. Anyway, here is RCRS XL at Energylandia featuring Zadra, Hyperion and Abyssus

Just an FYI @Mushroom - you can't use Facebook image links as they aren't static so become invalid fairly quickly.

I scrolled through the album on Facebook in conjunction with reading the report. :p
