A TR of where I went during the month of May. On 5/2, I went to KBF to renew my pass and for a ride on Xcelerator (which had just recently opened).
On 5/15 and 5/16, my friend was in need of some credits so we hit up Castle Park, Scandia, Adventure City, and Knott's again.
(BTW, the pictures are showing up small and refuse to resize.)
Luckily, KBF's famous slow-moving pass line was easy to deal with and I was out in 5 minutes.
From Xcelerator's queue, and, yep... Pretty much all there is to do!
Two weeks later and it was time to get back to a park. Here is Castle Park's train (WHICH INCLUDES A TUNNEL), and also has...
Disneyland on a car. How could they possibly get away with something like this!?
Oh and Universal too.
After some mini-golf...
And a couple rides on the S&S Tower...
And some other random rides, like the flyers, it was time to head to Scandia for the highlight of the day...
Their new ARM Tower! Castle Park was kind of a failed trip, as 2/3 of the credits were closed (I had them all but my friend had never been) but this drop tower made the whole day completely worth it.
If it was as tall as an Intamin, it would probably beat them...
Of course, we couldn't forget the Screamer, which...is impossible to describe. It's just that amazing.
"Keep arms in car or you will lose them." Way to grab my attention...
The back seat is always closed off for some reason, and to make things better, they decided to put these bags in the front car. Why? Good question. I think Scandia just wanted to make capacity the worst possible.
6 riders per car, one train...yeah...
After my friend rode Little Dipper (I whored it up years ago) it was time to leave possibly my jankiest park ever visited. It's like a Californian European Park... Without the water-ramp-slide-things and trampolines.
Before we went to Knott's the next day, we stopped by Adventure City where my friend ran in for the credits. I passed as, once again, I already had them and it was pay-one-price admission.
Rode Xcelerator seven times!
Launch never gets old...
I feel like it's finally beginning to gain a bit of speed over the top hat again, after crawling over it for over a year.
Some supports are being repainted.
Totally fits the Xcelerator theme.
Everything else was pretty much ignored in the park by us...like Boomerang...
Rode Silver Bullet once. Good enough.
The Catawampus is back!
Although I was greatly disappointed because it failed to moo.
Ghostrider was actually running great, just like it was when I rode in March. I guess 7-1 IS the magic seat.
Borefest compared to what I rode the day before.
Woo black restraints...
By 7pm that evening, the awesome weekend was over...and that's all I have for this TR. Thanks for reading.
