The alton facebook, alot of the people who are through to bootcamp have posted it, apparently they got emails.

Hope it doesn't effect the preview weekend!
 
Well i made it to bootcamp, i'm genuinely surprised more enthusiasts didn't enter.

I think they wanted a balance of different ages, sexes, etc on the ride.

It's a good campaign and seems to have got lots of folk talking, Alton always seem to get their worlds firsts into the media extremely sucsessfully :)
 
Has anyone said why yet? And why hasn't it been posted online or announced by the park or anything?

Nobody has said anything yet, restrictions and wavers etc.

I hope it will happen before the 12th, dont fancy flying back from france just to get there (probably be cheaper than the train though)

I recall seeing some pictures of the themeing being un finished, perhaps that was the delay. Ill bet my entire stash of old merchandise that it's a problem with the secret element though. :(

Yeah, the bootcamp will be at night... and not on Th13teen...

So why not do the bootcamp then save the ride for later? Unless they want to do it in a day and have video cameras and news people there or sommat...

Well, they're using them riding it for footage for the advert, so, I'd imagine they probably would want some video cameras there, yes...

Still says this even though it's been delayed so im guessing it will happen before the preview weekend..
 
I hope it lives up to the pinfari "bat coaster", seriously that thing is the defenition of value for money.

I don't know why they are marketing it to be so intense, it reminds me of the "junior coaster" on rct 1

Gotta love a free lunch though :?
