Creds from your Year of Birth

Giga Poster
Looking back through RCDB the other day, I've found that only 42 creds opened in 1984, my year of birth.

Not a standout year for coasters, but I've ridden 9 of them.

88 Train - Children's Grand Park
Boomerang - Bellewaerde
Camelback Jetcoaster - Himeji Central Park
Caterpillar Capers - Camelot Theme Park
Space Invader 2- Blackpool Pleasure Beach
Super Dragon - Drayton Manor
Tig'rr Coaster - Indiana Beach
Ultra Twister - Nagashima Spa Land
Vauhtimato - Särkänniemi Amusement Park

The big one I missed from that year (because it's long gone) is Big Bad Wolf at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. XLR-8 also opened at AstroWorld but it looked a bit crap. And Dragon at Ocean Park also looks vile. But at least I still might stand a chance of riding it.

So, what I'm interested to know is what creds everyone has ridden from their year of birth, what you'd still like to ride (if any) and what creds you've missed due to them getting torn down?

Fun topic idea!
Just looking at it, 90 coasters have opened in 1997, only 52 of which still operate today. Out of these, I've done 4:
Super 8er Bahn and Wilde Maus, both in Prater
Euro Mir in Europa Park
Superman: Escape from Krypton in SFMM.

Clearly the younger you are the more there are ;)

Being born as recently as 1995 there were 88 coasters opened that year of which 55 still exist. I have ridden:

Diablo at Port Aventura Park
Dragon Khan at Port Aventura Park
Rhombus's Rocket at Fantasy Island

Pretty basic really, I should be adding two more this year though

Enigma at Pleasurewood Hills
Gadget's Go Coaster at Disneyland Tokyo

This is an age-biased topic.

There were only 13 built in my year; I have ridden 3 of them but only 2 are now still operating (so I have 100% of the operating coasters from that year)... conclusion ; I'm far too old for this game.

Nothing has changed since the last time this topic was created a few years ago. There were 21 coasters built the year of my birth, but only one of them still operates and it's the only one of the 21 I've ridden.

There were so many built in 1996 It would take forever to type them. So I will just mention what I have been on and some other notable ones.

Ones I have been on

Skull Mountain
Flight of Fear - Kings Island
Great Chase - SFNE
Lil Phantom - Kennywood
Flight of Fear - Kings Dominion
Wildcat - Hershey
Barnstormer - Magic Kingdom
Mantis - Cedar Point

Other notable ones

Montu
Wild Thing - Valleyfair!
Santa Monica West Coaster
Fujiyama
Colorado Adventure
X-Thorpe
Megafobia

It looks like I will be getting to 2 or 3 more this year. I am surprised how many I had been on. I only new that Skull Mountain opened in 1996 not the others though.

Going to sound stupid now but how do you search by year on rcdb? You seem to be able to search by every other term except by age!

According to RCDB, there were 32 new coasters in 1980. Only 10 of them are still operating. Well, in their original locations at least. I guess there could be some relocations in there; I'm not going to trawl through to find out.

The ones I've ridden are:

Big Thunder Mountain - Magic Kingdom
Carolina Cyclone - Carowinds
Corkscrew - Alton Towers
Jet Star - Särkänniemi
Jet Stream - Ocean Beach
Nessie Superrollercoaster - Hansa
Scorpion - Busch Gardens Tampa
Shuttle Loop - Nagashima Spaland
Tokaydo Express - Blackpool

Of the nine that I've ridden, five are still going.
