The new owners of Brean are re-branding the "fun city" as Brean Theme Park... :?

And they're bringing in 3 new attractions for this year. A Disk'O, Star Flyer and a Circus.

Oh, and they've also abolished their stupid pricing system where you needed to buy two wristbands, costing you £40 to ride all day. There's now a set price of £25 for an all day wristband.

Still obscene pricing considering that with a BOGOF that's the price for a 'real' theme park.

Also, gross misunderstanding of the term 'theme park', Brean is pretty much the definition of Amusement Park!

Oh well, good to see they have the money to invest, hopefully they will keep on onwards and upwards.

They're not a "destination" park though. They capture the local holiday trade from the holiday camps and caravan parks in the area. So the pricing structure has to be different.

I could even (on that basis) understand the old pricing structure, especially because local trade would do one half of the day or the other. How much are places like Tir Prince for all day? I can't think of a funfair of the size of Brean that it can really be compared to to be honest.

Good work on stretching the use of the term "Theme Park" beyond any bounds of realism though

Brean has one of the best Ghost Trains in the UK, I'd love their standard of future investment to match that.

If the new owners could get rid of that bouncing thing, that'd be nice.
