Time for middle school graduation!!! Yeahhhhhhhh!!!!!

Goodbye, long and long middle school... and the start of new high school, which is an international high school in Busan

Why not going to the park?? I asked my classmates to go the day before this trip.

BUT I have an English academy to go to at 7... So I had to leave the park at 4 PM.

Let's start my story.

After graduation the last bowling with my friends. Got max 120. I HATE GUTTERBALLS though I throw 12~13 pound ball.

The next day, because of the coronavirus threat, I saw the news that all over the Gyeongju is E M P T Y. The last trip, because it was a holiday of Korea, I waited 120 min for a trick pony dive coaster.

Living in Ulsan, near Busan, it took 30 minutes to go to Bulguksa-station
(My former classmates in the train)

And a 20-minute bus ride.

While on the bus, I met another group of middle school students. They told me that they'll sleep at Blue One resort, rather than coming back to Ulsan in a day.

And arrived at the park at 9:40, found the park ?ing empty. Even before10 minutes from the opening, NO ONE WAS THERE.

Waited 10 minutes until the ticket office opens at 9:50. Took forever.
Now it opens.
Heading straight to Draken. Lots of classmates have fear of height, but 3 thrill-seekers pushed them. BUT IT WAS SPITING. Too much wind.
No coasters are open, so some flats.
Ridden a decent Viking ship. Made me feel sick. Just a bit of airtime.

NOW, found out both coasters are testing. But not opened. Waited with riding Zamperla 24 frisbee filled with intense 115-degree airtimes.
(1 cycle wait)

And Phaethon opened!!!
Classmates were all in fear, and the 3 brave escorted them. B&M time!!!
(5 min wait)
Escorted them to row 6 7 8. Too much great whip at the zero g roll. And an always forceful BM invert.
Everyone said this coaster was dizzy, and I need something to thrill them, and a Zamperla drop tower.

Next up a SNOW PARK in 14°C

LONG AND BORING SLED. For 2 times. I WANT DRAKEN.
(3 min wait)

After a cheap meal, time for Draken.
But fearful friends told me to ride sled AGAIN. Let's tolerate...

Next up is NOW Draken. I had really hard time waiting for my friends..... As a coaster enthusiast.

Because the park didnt use air gate at that ride, though I queued up for row 3, I filled single seat at row 1!!! Unexpected 1st row ride!!!

Had one more ride, this time row 3.
NO LINE AT ALL

Next up is Zamperla airrace with dragon theming. A low budget mix.
A DIZZY SPINNER. NO WAY.

After meeting my friends, I pushed all 8 to Draken. Ride ops were embarassed when I said 9 people.
(Empty midway)

Next up, Klake (Not crack), whose symbol resembles to Gatekeeper at CP.
Great hangtime!! Seeing my friends at 100 ft with upside down position was so fun.

After some satisfying rides, we went to Bumper Car, which had an half an hour wait. NO WAY. 30 min for Phaethon is tolerable, not for Bumper Cars.

What's he doing on the empty stage?

Next, we tried to ride log flume but getting wet on February feels bad, so no. INSTEAD A FAMILY TRAIN.
Took some backside photos of Phaethon. This is how final brakes look like:

For next, 2 B&Ms while other fear-filled students rode a pedal rail ride.

After 1 more Phaethon, it's time for me to go. Because of academy.....

Queueing for Phaethon, I saw where the bus is, and after I meet another same middle school group, and we eventually became 11. So when I tell ride op we're the group of 11 riders, they batched us to the next cycle, and got an opportunity to choose FRONT ROW!!!!! INTENSE BM INVERT+FRONT FEETCHOPPER=Great last ride!!!! As always front was much more forceful and snappier than the back. Great last coaster ride.
I had an 20 min, so one more ride. Tornado. Same airtime but loose restraints.
But why do this park staple my B&M restraint??? I want loose restraint which is good for my airtime.
DAY ENDED. GO TO ACADEMY.

Total ride count
Phaethon 4
Draken 5
Tornado 2
Krake 3
Viking 1
Mega drop 1
Family train 1
Snow sled 3
Total: 19
There were almost no people. Total visitor number must be 250 or less. Last visit it was almost 10000.
And goodbye to my classmates.......
After exiting the park
And it takes 40 minutes for this park to Shin Gyeongju KTX station (bus no.700)
And there I go, 30 minutes to Busan by KTX.

Some more photos. Find me!!

Fantastic way to end the year with your friends, I say.

I particularly like how you're patient enough to let them build up to riding the big coaster(s) by letting them ride (and re-ride) the sled. :p

Congratulations on graduation, and good luck with your new school!

To say more: 1 week after the trip, South Korea had a great amount of (600+ confirmed cases a day in ONE city) confirmed cases in a month due to the people related to the religious group in Daegu.

When I think that trip again, it was so lucky. Low crowds and 1 week before massive South Korea COVID-19 outbreak. One bad thing was my academy schedule. As I live in Busan now, I need ed to take 2 buses and 1 KTX. After arriving, it was very tired, and barely able to take a class with tall-size Starbucks ice Americano with 4 shots.
