The 'rules' in speculating a parks next coaster.

Or they could keep the Hurler that they have and build a ground-up RMC after they get their GCI. Hurler is still a very popular ride at Carowinds, plus what would RMC gain by building an exact replica of the Twisted Timber ride. What would you call the clone? TT2? I fell for the RMC Hurler 2.0...

    NoLimits2 noob in need

Hey all, I recently bought NoLimits2. My previous coaster sim experience was RCT3. I chose NL2 because it focused on the part I enjoyed which was building the coasters. I am now understanding that NL2 is way beyond my puny RCT building skills. Can someone recommend an online beginners guide...

Rides you rode in the opening season?

Big Bad Wolf, because I'm old like that.

    Best Introductory Coasters

I think the answer to that in many cases is the classic wood coaster. One of the things that intimidates novice riders most is "going upside down." Most of the popular steel hyper coasters today have out-and-back layouts very similar to the classic woodies. Airtime over intensity. Ultimately...

    Rides that really disappointed you.

Griffon at BGW. I had seen videos of Oblivion at Alton Towers for the longest time. When Griffon was announced for BGW, I was so excited to ride it. Maybe it was the theming of Oblivion that I found so impressive because Griffon just seemed kind of pointless once you finished the 1st drop.

    Carowinds...How could it be better?

Since Fury 325 came on the scene in 2015, suddenly a lot of people are paying attention to what is going on there. If you are like me, you see the potential is there, but there are also a few problems as well. From a coaster perspective, the dismantling of Thunder Road gave a lot more space...

Striking a balance between enthusiast and GP.

If there is a point, I think we look at the world too often like its US vs. THEM. Perhaps we use the term GP to make fun of people that aren't like us.

Striking a balance between enthusiast and GP.

It was just a personal epiphany I wanted to share. Is a question required? I haven't been on this forum that long so I may not be as familiar with the rules as I should be.

Striking a balance between enthusiast and GP.

I've noticed a lot of GP bashing on the forums and on Youtube among coaster enthusiasts. The GP comments vary in degrees from ignorant to stupid to just flat out lies. I don't really mind the ignorant. You can enjoy a roller coaster and not know the difference between a Dive turn and an...

    Did you ride Intimidator pre-Fury?

    Rank the B&M Hyper coasters

I'm with you. The airtime on this thing is great, but the back seat is the sweet spot. I took turns binge re-riding Intimidator and Fury 325 a month ago and I could have done that all day long.
