Always variable but right now I'll go with this, pretty happy with this so far ten rides now that I really really like...
1: Taron
2: Hyperion
3: Zadra
4: Kondaa
5: Shambhala
6: Silver Star
7: Nemesis
8: Steel Dragon 2000 (new)
9: Black Mamba
10: Stealth
RIP Blue Fire and Wodan
(realistic)...
Right then time to put something down from Nagashima I guess:
Hakugei: Never easy going against the grain but I can't ignore the sheer brutality of this thing if you have long legs I'm afraid. The elements are all fantastic, the speed is great, the airtime is insane and I can definitely see why...
Thorpe park today for Hyperia, so much for that, still, got some coaster credits
The Swarm: I was really rather looking forward to this as I've never ridden it before . Many of the makings of a world class ride but it's just a smidgeon on the slow side for me. Additionally, the restraints don't...
I actually pretty much have for this exact reason. Swapping out Europa trip for an Energylandia revisit I reckon. Just hope they don't introduce a single rider for Hyperion soon where I'm forced into the outside seats (although they're nowhere near as rough as that sounds tbf :) )
Less than a week to go, what are we all thinking then? I'm feeling super optimistic about his ride and saying this is going to be a 10/10......happy to eat my words if wrong :)
My gosh this really does look utterly magnificent. I was looking forward to it anyway but it looks like it's going to be far, far beyond my expectations personally......
Kondaa-really really happy to finally get this credit. I was really somewhat looking forward to this one as a big Intamin fan, and it didn't disappoint. Great theming, great pacing and airtime galore. I was fortunate enough to score a front row ride once too which was absolutely magnificent...
I emailed them today to ask if it would be open in time for their opening season and this was their response:

Hello,
Thank you very much for your email and your interest in Europa-Park.
The opening of our new multi launch coaster Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac is...
Don't know how reliable this is.....
I also heard dates of 'summer 2024' which is worrying.....so I'd also appreciate an answer to this if anyone knows.....
Interesting. I live in Brighton since 2017 but always avoid this one for this exact reason hehe. Never fancied it tbh.
On a similar topic, the Brighton booster would have been a reasonable shout but sadly it's been gone for nearly a year now. Shame such a great ride :(.
Oblivion would be the...
I remember way back 2011, long before I was properly into/ aware of rides, me and my gf at the time decided to skive a day of uni to go the Thorpe Park on a totally empty Friday in like February or something. We had an absolute blast particularly with Stealth and Tidal Wave, but we both agreed...
Going to keep this as realistic as stuff like Steel Vengeance, Hakugei and Skyrush would be ludicrously high up but in terms of stuff I'm actually likely to do anytime in the next few years, with a bit of commentary thrown in for good measure, I'll go with:
1. Kondaa-this is EXACTLY my kind of...
Well as a massive Intamin fanboy I flew all the way out to Helsinki and made a whole holiday of it, largely to ride Taiga at Linnanmaki. I only got one ride on the darn thing as it was down for the entire day that I went there from about 30 minutes after opening..... that's gotta be a pretty...
Another vote for Europa here. Is there anything that park can't do right?
Also I don't know why but for some reason I always really look forward to lunch at Energylandia, even though I can't really make a case for it being anywhere near the top........it's a bit tacky at times but I just love...
Whilst Taron is undoubtedly king of West Germany for me, I think I actually prefer Europa park's coaster lineup as a whole when compared with Phantasialand...............now THAT must be a pretty uncommon opinion.....
Not surprised by Germany at all. Any country would rightly point to just one of Phantasialand or Europa park and stake a claim for top 5 based on them alone. To have both in the same country is insane and that's BEFORE taking into account Hansa/Heide/Movie park etc, some of which contain...
