lol, I haven't actually done this, nor do I condone it. But I wouldn't blame anybody for trying, really. It's amazing how they just give you the cup and let you use the machine yourself!
The show didn't really appeal to me - but the area looks quite nice. Except 'Jungle Bouncers' - why the hell does it still have Ribena berries all over it?
Also, for those of you who fancy saving a little bit of dosh:
1. If you fancy a hot chocolate (£1.60), go to Donut Shack and ask for a tea...
Re: Heide Park 2014
^ I completely agree with you. People who see this in the park in 2012 are probably less likely to visit in 2013, and the profits made by the park will drop. I believe that they should wait until, at the very earliest, the beginning of the 2013 season before choosing to...
No, it hasn't. Until yesterday, the image was of one taken in 2008, while SAW - The Ride was still under construction.
And due to Google's licensing, they cannot publish an image that is under two years old, so this is the best we're going to get.
Now I'm more determined than ever to win Deal or no Deal, could have this in the garden!
Seriously though, this decision has surprised me hugely. I really hope Blackgang Chine isn't going to go out of business, considering it's often regarded as the oldest 'amusement park' in the world.
Re: Wierd, Wacky & Strange Coaster Bits
^ Well, that's certainly an interesting one! ;)
From a 1907 postcard. Incredible how roller coasters have changed over the years!
I spent quite a bit of time in The Swarm area yesterday at Thorpe, and I didn't see any fire effects yet. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the only fire effect in the area is that of the fire engine?
All other effects were working, including the 'burning' fire engine next to Depth Charge...
I also noticed that Lost City's main theme tune seems to have been chipmunked - it was playing faster and in higher pitch. Everything else was playing normally. Not sure if this was deliberate or an error, but I'm seriously hoping it was an error because it sounds awful.
No, it doesn't, Thorpe's 2015 coaster is planned to be 50 metres, whereas Superman is only 35 metres. Although, it would be great if they did have a clone of Superman.
