I agree with Holiday World because it is in Kentuckiana making it redneck central. And because it is the vacation center for the lower class families in Central to Southern Indiana it attracts the scumbags.
You're exactly right though. We are supposed to be getting 2-3 inches of snow tonight and more coming up in the week so they are trying to finish ASAP. Anyways, that horseshoe element kinda reminds me of Shambala's ampersand <3
Before Pilgrim's Plunge was removed the water ride selection at Holiday World was pretty good. Frightful Falls and Roaring Rapids were fun little rides.
Re: Cedar Point loses out on Golden Ticket Best Park award
It is interesting how Holiday World has all time most awards with 44 seeing as it is a tiny park in the middle of southern Indiana. What was Splashin' Safari ranked in terms of the water parks?
How do parks and manufacturers figure a coasters speed? Obviously they have an idea of how fast it will go prior to the ride being built but once it's built do they have sort of speedometers in the trains that keep track if speed and RPM's??
Banshee: bloody brilliant and exactly what Kings Island needed.
Montu: Very forceful and long but is less than Banshee.
Raptor: Very meh but great fun.
Batman:TR St. Louis: my legs felt on fire so big letdown.
Well I finally got over to Kings Island after 6 long years and 2 coasters. One of which blew me away and the other was meh, so let's get started.
The day began with a 3 hour drive over to Mason from Terre Haute, Indiana (my hometown) for my buddies' 16th birthday. We got to the park right...

Re: Holiday World | Unknown | Unknown
A THEME park, meaning that it was the first park to have a unified theme all throughout the park.
And the trees to the sides of The Voyage are rather tall so if they preserve as many as they can the ride can travel alongside the trees.
I personally thought Mantis was the most painful ride in the park. My legs were completely numbed by the ride leaving me very uncomfortably the entire ride. Hopefully this is just a repaint though as the floorless conversion is pointless with them having Gatekeeper already.
And Tomahawk, see...
Re: Holiday World | Unknown | Unknown
That's not what I meant, I meant that how far apart would footers need to be and how the supports would work out.
