I swear I remember David taking this picture of me but I didn’t recognize him at all. My time in controls usually consists of me worrying about interval and people watching. I look way too intense in that picture
The queues are only connected to Wicked Twister and lie directly to the right of the “old” queues. They were behind the fence where that new stage is next to Windseeker. Definetly points to something big coming to the ride as there is no need to add essentially a half hour more of queue space...
Everybody and their mother loves Steve, well except for Mean Streak Henry (he didn’t like it). The sensation behind the ride itself isn’t unique but it definitely seems way more successful than what would have been expected.
1. Steel Vengeance- for obvious reasons. It’s trimmed incredibly hard the last few times I’ve ridden it but that second half is still amazing.
2. Voyage- absolutely love this ride from the great first drop to the relentless 2nd half.
3. Maverick
4. Millennium Force
5. Montu
6. Banshee

Maggie isn’t leaving any time soon. It still pulls well over a million riders a year and is such an iconic piece of the park. Also trimless rides on Magnum are incredible.
There are surveyors marks by Witches Wheel in the back of the park. Do what you will with that because I don't know how to interpret it.
However, I see it being another 300+ foot coaster to celebrate the 150th year of the park. 2020 is going to be amazing.
Realistically, I see it being a B&M giga. I kinda misphrased when saying it could top Vengeance but a 350’ giga would give CP another hit with the GP.
As for the space issue, they did just tear down Sandcastle Suites. However it seems like something else would have to go in order to...
After 18 rides on Vengeance now, it honestly is the best coaster I've ever ridden. The first drop is nuts, the outward banked hill tries to kill you, the zero-g and its amazing floating sensation make the first half incredibly enjoyable. However, the 2nd half is by far the stronger half of the...
I hope everyone enjoyed the live today! I’m a ride op on Millennium at CP and saw most of you and gave a shoutout when you all were on platform but I don’t think anyone heard me. Next time anyone is at CP come find me at Millennium/Dragster, I’m the blonde kid named Nick. Safe travels home and...
Re: SFGAm vs. Cedar Point- World Series Bet
I remember seeing this last year after the St. Louis Series and absolutely loved it as I am an avid Cubs fan. I REALLY want to see Top Thrill Cubs come spring 2017!
I really feel like the Boss has the layout best suited for the Iron Horse treatment. Just the way it dominates the back of the park has always intrigued me. I really hope they finally RMC it because that park really needs some lovin'.
You should've stopped in Terre Haute on the way down to Santa Claus to stop by Rose Hulman, which is actually the best engineering school I'm the nation ;). Also, I live in Terre Haute so for the first time I could've had a CFer near me. But great report!
Re: USA'15: Carowinds/LWinnie/HWorld/SFStL/SilverDollarCity
Just got to Holiday World yesterday and quite frankly thought Thunderbird was awesome. Like really good. I got 3 rides; 2 on the right, one on the left and I thought both sides rode superbly well. Holiday World has themselves a winner...
Once went 8 re rides in a row on Voyage before sub missing to exhaustion... The park was absolutely empty at Holiday World and my buddies just kept on running back into the station time and time again. Talk about a major headache after
