With regards to the manufacturer of the Flying Theatre will it be the Brogent/Vekoma model like that of Flight Of Passage and Volitarium? Because Merlin were spotted at the Vekoma factory a while back and are working with Merlin on Monster Party at Windsor at the minute.
Sidenote: Is it better...
Lego Movie World seems pretty major for the Legoland parks as Flying Theatre's surely can't be cheap and to add a water ride and flat ride on top of that (Can we mention the fact that a Merlin park is getting a flat ride).
Interested to see how similar this will end up being to all the other...
Man, this park has really been hit with bad luck. I sincerely hope it gets a worthy replacement.
I would like Drayton to get a small Gravity Group woodie like that of Kentucky Flyer or Timber as it'll provide a great ride and suit Drayton's target audience really well, pleasing everyone.
I assume the 2,609ft long distance must include everything including the station, lift hill and brakes whereas the official stats Towers released were probably only top of lift hill to first brake run. Also worth noting Towers was saying WM is running at 45/46mph during staff previews whereas...
With regards to Icon not bringing that many guests, I'm gonna put it down to it's marketing because the marketing budget was tiny when compared to something like Wicker Man as well as the fact the marketing didn't really explain what it actually was that well, heck even the poster for the ride...
You mean this? Nick seems to infer there's more major additions coming to the park and it does lineup with the rumours of a 2/3 ride deal with Mack.
Also apparently @Scott88 has heard something about the next attraction currently named "E30". I've heard it will be a Mack BigDipper with a layout...
Ahhh yes the "I'm a shareholder" is a very valid reason that your conspiracy theories are more valid than other peoples, not like shareholders speculate all the time and are proven wrong.
*Insert generic giga joke here*
Only a matter of time until someone mentions "giganten" sounds like giga.
EDIT: Does the logo look similar to Wicker Man's or is it just me?
I wouldn't be surprised if it is Universal Rocks as they were responsible for sculpting the Wicker Man structure as well as the rockwork down by the station of the ride and Heide's additions is designed by MMM North who are responsible for WM.
There is an offical POV plonker, in fact there's loads. All of the rider POV's on the meet the makers event were filmed by Towers and the park themselves filmed a POV on the day and told people like TowersStreet, TPW, TowersTimes, PBE etc to upload it.
At the start of the season one of Rumba Rapids boats was up at Towers will all the different bars on it. Guessing they've been working with Drayton, Thorpe, H&S and Intamin to get the Rapids new safety protocols after the Drayton incident.
In regards to DBGT, I love that ride when I rode it last year however I thought that it certainly wasn't worth it's price and now having seen how the ride works with the BTS stuff (which I'm not going to post here, it's a secret), it certainly doesn't look it's price tag, heck I didn't know in...
