    Taron Vs Velocicoaster

Hello all 🖐 I'm due to get my first ever rides on Taron in May! I've only ever done one other Intamin Multi-launch coaster (Velocicoaster) that is thrill-orientated. I currently have Velocicoaster as my #2 due to it's great launches, theming and pops of airtime. Of course, Taron looks to offer...

Thorpe Park | Hyperia | Mack Hyper Coaster | 2024

I'm probably in the minority here, but I actually don't mind the rumoured name 👀 I did quite like Exodus too and probably would have preferred it but 'The Intimidator' sounds quite fitting considering it'll be the tallest in the country. I must admit, I'll be quite surprised if it doesn't end...

Which existing/under construction coaster is the most likely to become your next #1?

With Iron Gwazi as my #1, I do struggle to see what else could top it. Of course there are the likes of SV, Zadra, Fury 325, and a few other top-rated coasters that could take the throne, but for what I have planned this year, it's highly unlikely they'll be on the list. For what I do have...

Best / Worst Queue and Exit Layouts for Coaster Marathons

Best: Mako - It may be different on the busier day, but I've found that this is such an easy coaster to lap. The entrance/exit are right next to each other, and there isn't much of a cattlepen queue that leads into the station building. Nemesis - When the extended queue isn't opened, this thing...

Debut Trip Report - Flamingo Land October 22

Good report! I went there back in October last year and had the same problems with Mumbo Jumbo. Queue looked pretty short (looked to be 10 minutes at the most) but ended up waiting 40 minutes as they were super slow with the operations and the 1st train was even waiting on the break run for a...

    Good elements on bad coasters

Stampida - a pretty rough coaster but it actually becomes super fun and enjoyable to ride helped by the whole racing and fly-by element. Big One - Might be fairly controversial, but I think the layout of this coaster is super dull. The hills don't provide any airtime, it's pretty rough and...

What has been your most successful year as an enthusiast?

2022 for sure. Managed to visit 11 different parks (Florida & UK) and get plenty of new creds including my first RMC and Intamin multi-launch (which of course took the top spots in my rankings) 2023 is looking to be an interesting one....whilst not as many parks as last year, I'll visiting new...

Ice Breaker or Tigris; which Premier Rides swing launch coaster in Florida do you prefer?

Both are pretty uncomfortable coasters, but Ice Breaker just takes the cake by having the better layout. Tigris is decent for it's height, but IB has the decent launches too, then there's a few good pops of airtime (albeit restricted by the OTSRs)

What makes your #1 better than your #2?

#1 Is Iron Gwazi and #2 is Velocicoaster. Honestly, as an overall experience, I'd say Velocicoaster wins. It has great theming, two pretty decent launches, airtime, hangtime, near misses...it's just great! I was expecting to have this as my #1 before my trip to Florida last year. But then Iron...

Portaventura Being Sold Back to Universal? Rumour!

If Ferrari Land was to ever be rethemed and owned by Universal, I can seeing it being a very obvious option....fast and furious! Would make sense, right? 🤔

    Alton Towers | Nemesis Reborn | B&M Retrack | 2024

I never used to see the problem with the vest restraints when I was younger. But, as I've gotten older, taller, bigger, I've had a few issues with them as of late, especially on my shoulders. Definitely prefer the OTSR's but I can see how others prefer the vest restraints too.

    Alton Towers | Nemesis Reborn | B&M Retrack | 2024

Not sure if many have already have already seen pictures floating around on social media, but thought i'd share one of the good shots I've seen of the current progress.... Totally wierd seeing all the track missing and I can't wait to see what it looks like when there's none left at all.

Rank the Star Wars Movies (so far).

Recently re-watched Star Wars (this time with the partner who's never seen any before!) Definitely been some changes and I'll also include the shows that I've watched. 1. Rogue One 2. Revenge Of The Sith - Still love it, but Rogue One takes the cake just for the difference in story/writing and...

    Alton Towers | Nemesis Reborn | B&M Retrack | 2024

Personally, I think it could be a good idea to have some of the old track weaving in and out of the path that leads to the hotel-access into Forbidden Valley. At the moment, it's just some rocks on the path so it could definitely do with something like this?

    "Now Showing"

Black Panther - Wakanda Forever: Had my hopes set low for this one and didn't expect too much (considering that the majority of Marvel's phase 4 has been a pretty big flop) however I walked out pretty satisfied. Yes, it wasn't as good as the first and I think think most people would expect that...
