    Six Flags Fiesta Texas | Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger | B&M Dive Coaster | 2022

This ride is definitely something Merlin would do at one of there parks, the whole dark theme, this would fit Thorpe park so well!! I've Hurd Talk about this ride having an immersive pre show (screamscape)!?!? Plus could it actually be themed??? Like actual theming in a six flags park??? I'd...

    Zamperla Thunderbolt for Pleasureland Southport?

I recon maybe 2023? Do you think they may have got one of those Zamperla ride package offers. Could they be a few small flat rides included too? A bit like what Dreamland did. One could wish 😍

    Zamperla Thunderbolt for Pleasureland Southport?

This is amazing news!! I have a soft spot for the park from formally living in Southport myself and always visiting as a child! I knew something was going to happen that was big, the owner is so ambitious! He's made the park look really good. Some of the rides there are funfair rides, but they...

New (temporary, hired) flat rides for Alton Towers

so from what screamscape has posted, the rumoured twister/scrambler has turned up in the land of David Walliams. it called Flavio's Fabulous Fandango which makes me think that it may be with us for longer than we think, as in possibly a permanent addition? Also the appreciation from these flat...

    Big One Re-Tracking @Pleasure Beach

Also RMC coasters have there wheels on the inside! I think in a perfect world with an unlimited budget, the best thing that could be done would be a big one RMC conversion, now that would be epic!!!

Kent, England | The London Resort | Entertainment Complex

Yes!!! I do think that out of anywhere in the UK that will get planning permission for a hyper/giga/strata coaster it would be the London resort due to the facts of taller structures nearby and on site! Hope if this does go ahead that we could maybe see tall coasters, if not for the opening...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

I always thought that pleasurewood hills would suit pandemonium if Looping group ever decided to do a ride rotation, or for them to use pleasurewood as a Drayton scrap yard...just like what flamingo land did with pleasure Island.

    New Mack Prototype

Could it not be some sort of hyper/giga spinning coaster that inverts?!?! Add a launch maybe. Now that would be something!

Six Flags to close 15 rides in the chain after 2020

I do think it will be removal of filler rides such as flat rides and kids rides, I really don't think we will see any major coasters removed, potentially SBNO but no removals for major rides. Maybe the removals of more log flumes that are past the 30 year old mark and maybe the removal of rides...

Viking Pub and New Mini Golf Course for Southport Pleasureland

Interesting news today coming from Southport Pleasureland on the addition of a brand new highly themed Viking mini golf and Viking themed pub with firepit and barbeque. Concept art in the article shows a highly themed experience, set to be built just outside the main park, on one of the parks...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

Don't understand why there's not more of the standard Maurer spinners, they give a much better ride then the Zamperla and Reverchion spinning wild mouse's, and there no bigger than a Pinfari Zyklon, would be perfect for somewhere like Brighton pier or Blackpool pier. Dou you recon this could...

    Gullivers Valley

They did add one at there Milton Keynes park a few years back. It is a weird move as parks like Paulton's have opted for non inverting models. BUT! As there parks are aimed at the 2-13 market, these days 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 year olds want to go on major rides like Icon and Nemesis, so I'm...

Small News From The Theme Park Industry

Southport Pleasureland started doing it four years ago, I think they stated doing it in September, I'm guessing they were the first UK park to do it!

Drayton Manor sold to Looping Group (page 5)

Most the set pieces from inside pirates adventure were auctioned off earlier this year so it would have too be re themed unfortunately. I think there is a high chance that the rapids will re open, but I bet they will be extensively re themed, given a new name and advertised as a new ride. sort...

Drayton Manor sold to Looping Group (page 5)

Although the zoo does need work, I see it as something they will invest in sooner rather than later. With the animals they already have in there portfolio, they could cheaply introduce new enclosures and animals for the next investment, until they get to grips with the direction of the park...

Drayton Manor sold to Looping Group (page 5)

They actually have a few animal only based attractions. They own 'Planete Sauvage' safari park and 'Zoo de la Fleche' Zoo! They also have two aquariums as they own 'Grand Aquarium de Saint-Malo' and 'Grand Aquarium de Touraine'. All of which they have operated for multiple years so I do think...

Drayton Manor sold to Looping Group (page 5)

The fact that they had 15 locations (9 parks with rides) at 4.3 million and Drayton increased there attendance by almost 22% is significant! most of there Large parks are sat comfortably being local attraction parks that don't really have a large catchment area. They push along with minor...

Drayton Manor sold to Looping Group (page 5)

Don't the Bryan family Live in houses built on park property as well? would be interesting to see if they still want to take the park down a more family with young kids route, or if they will now aim at more of an everyone market with retaining and adding to the thrill rides line up, now that...

Drayton Manor sold to Looping Group (page 5)

I think it's worth looking at visitor numbers for the parks? I do think alot of looping's parks may only hit around the half a million mark on attendance figures. Where as Drayton manor is reported at still achiving just over a million, which potentially means it could get twice the investment...
