I had the opportunity to ride Kondaa 3 times on opening day and here is my opinion on it.
Kondaa is an amazing rollercoaster with some awesome theming. From the queue you have some amazing views of the first drop and the ending. The trains are similar to the ones on Taron or Taiga but these...
There is a big chanche that the themeparks over here in Belgium won't open on 8 may which would be sad, they think it would be too soon for the themeparks and restraunts to reopen becaue there are still too many infections but nothing is sure yet
Here is an article that discusses all of the CDA parks and their recent investments and also a bit about covid 19, in this article, one of the first riders of Kondaa, Julie Simon says "Kondaa is a great, but aggressive ride" which I was hoping for so I can't really complain, it looks so good...
That looks mental, it goes so fast and has so much whip, the first drop in the backrow looks absolutely crazy and so does the double inverting dive loop. But the ride will most probably not go this fast when it opens, it is now just riding in "overdive", it just makes sure that the trains makes...
A very nice video that shows off the first inversion, a curved jojo roll which gives some great hangtime.
The station building looks incredible, the details on it are fantastic an the statue of kondaa is looking so amzing. One small detail I haven't really seen is the stairs that lead to a door on the right side of the entrance, I don't really know for what that will be used.
It is weird how much difference there is between the 2 trains, almost 4 seconds. But I am positive that when Kondaa opens the "problem" will be fixed.
Walibi is/was probably testing the trains on how it would run if they were only allowed to run Kondaa on half the capacity because of Covid.
Glad to see it testing back again, and I must say that drop in the back will be so whippy and full of ejector, I don't know if I am the only one who thinks that but it looks like the drop starts twisting later than the drop on EGF, so that would mean more airtime and even more whip.
